She is kind, compassionate, incredibly responsive, and brings so much energy and warmth to every interaction. There have been multiple occasions when one of our children have shown signs of an ear infection late at night, and she responded promptly, saw them to make an accurate diagnosis, and made sure they received the treatment they needed as soon as possible. Whenever my kids feel anxious about an appointment, she is able to calm their fears, make them feel safe, and even turn the visit into a positive experience. I especially appreciate how thoroughly she explains medical concerns in a way that's easy to understand. She takes the time to answer questions and listens to my concerns. I was able to get my son an appointment with Dr. Weger. Medical group is located on Dublin Blvd and Tassajara. The hospital was clean and new. They had pre-mailed me the forms so by the time I checked in, they called us right away so the wait time was virtually none. Reception desk was friendly. Dr. Weger is excellent! I could tell Dr. Weger was easy going and immediately liked how she was so gentle and sweet with my son. She was very thorough, going over everything - i didnt feel rushed or insincere. You can tell right away that she is genuine and caring. She is also very knowledgeable. She pointed out a few things that we needed to further check on and when I didnt understand something, she clearly explained and at one point even drew diagrams to explain. I am so glad we were able to see her as other doctors werent as thorough with the check ups. I am glad my son saw Dr. Weger! Definitely a fan!!!

Dr. Nash spends a LOT of time ensuring that all of our questions are answered. We never feel rushed or never feel like there is a "stupid" question when talking to Dr. Nash. He is very detailed in all of his direction and treatments for each of our five children. There have been times where we think we have an understanding of something through our own research but he has patiently explained to us medical dynamics that we are unaware of. I called in tonight (right before they closed) worried about whether or not to take a very sick child to the ER and his office staff ensured all of my questions were answered and provided the right direction without rushing to end their day. We fully trust Dr. Nash and his staff and would recommend him to anyone!!

The staff has recently changed, and they are not as friendly as they have been and I debated giving fewer stars for that, but since we love Dr. Quan and Dr. Eburu who we see when Dr. Quan is not available, I left it at 5 stars since that is what they deserve. I WILL however, be writing a separate review for another dr there who we do not care for AT ALL. Ok, shoot. I can't write a separate review. So I'm just going to review this other dr here, but leave the rating the same because I don't think the entire practice should suffer from one grumpy person. Dr. Ash is the absolute worst dr I have ever seen. He is mean (for lack of a better word) and makes you feel stupid for asking questions. Unfortunately the drs we normally see were not available so we took an appointment with him, but I will NEVER make an appointment with him EVER again.

Today is October 30, 2019. And we have been trying to get a hold of our medical records since May! That's about 5 months!!! We tried calling 6 times in total, and left a message each time. They returned our call once, but we missed it, and they never left a message. Why is it so difficult to talk to someone? We need the medical records for the specialist. Plus, we need an extension for the referral because it expires before our appointment with the specialist! This specialist must be popular? We cannot connect with Dr. Quan's office to renew/extend the referral. We moved from SF about a year ago, and we are thinking of switching back to our SF pediatrician. We called our SF pediatrician today, and got their copy of the medical records. Everything resolved in 1 call and in 1 day. I think it is worth the drive to SF to see a doctor from San Ramon.

When we arrived, we were told that we were 15 minutes late and that the doctor would not help us. I understand the need for doctor offices to stay on time. But this was a unique situation with a sick child. We weren't late due to us lollygagging. We were 15 minutes late because insurance was trying to wedge us into a last minute appt slot to help with a sick child. We begged and pleaded for help as my wife and child were crying in the lobby. This doctor took the time to come out and tell us off personally. How kind. Good to know this doctor would prefer a child die than be a few minutes late to her next appointment or lunch break.

I will not bring my daughter back to this clinic…read more I rarely leave reviews, but I believe this experience needs to be addressed. Last year, our experience with this pediatric clinic was very positive. We were treated well by everyone, from the reception staff to the doctor. Unfortunately, this year's experience was completely different. The clinic initially contacted me and offered to schedule my daughter's annual examination. I appreciated the call because my schedule had made it difficult for me to arrange the appointment myself. The day before the appointment, after I had already confirmed it electronically, I received another call requesting insurance information. I was in a work meeting and explained twice that I could not speak at that time. I offered to call back after 5:30 p.m. or provide the information early the following morning before our 10:00 a.m. appointment. Instead of acknowledging these options, the staff member continued asking the same questions and then asked whether someone else could answer them. I explained that I was working and that no one else was available. She then stated, "If you do not answer my questions, your daughter's appointment will be cancelled." I found this unnecessarily disrespectful. I had clearly communicated that I was willing to provide the information at a different time. No one called me back later that day, and I did not receive any notice that the appointment had been cancelled. To prevent further problems, my teenage daughter and I arrived early the next morning so that I could provide all the necessary information in person. The receptionist asked for a physical insurance card. I explained that my insurance provides only an electronic card and asked how I could submit it. Rather than offering assistance, the receptionist told me to upload it through MyChart. I explained that I did not have an active MyChart login. I had previously received only a link that allowed me to confirm the appointment using my daughter's date of birth. It did not provide access to an account, and I had never received a username or password. When I tried to explain this, the receptionist gave me a scornful look and continued responding in a dismissive manner. She requested my name and date of birth but did not clearly explain how this would help me upload the insurance card. At that point, I felt that my questions and efforts to cooperate were being treated as an inconvenience. Because of the way we were treated, I asked to cancel my daughter's appointment. This situation could have been resolved easily through more respectful communication and basic cooperation, unfortunately this clinic is evidently in lack of such 'frivolities'.

I called (not knowing Dr. Brock had left) for a copy of a referral to a GI Dr. Brock gave at our last appointment so I could follow up with the GI. I was denied a copy of the referral, and when I asked if that meant that they were refusing to provide me with my daughter's medical records, the answer was yes and that I had to contact Dr. Brock directly at her new office. I could not believe the level of unprofessionalism. I called Pleasant Hill, and I was informed that I am far from the only one to have experienced this treatment. I might understand some less than cordial treatment if I was informing them I was leaving, but all I wanted was my kid's medical records. That this facility has chosen to put the internal fighting as a priority above patients is disgusting. I don't know that we'll follow Dr. Brock, but we certainly won't be staying here. We will miss Desiree, who was always kind and friendly, but I have no trust whatsoever in this place.
