Dr. Jasmine is truly one of the best pediatricians in the East Bay. She combines deep medical knowledge with genuine compassion, which is rare to find. What sets her apart is how well she understands not just her patients, but families as a whole--she takes the time to listen, connect, and make you feel completely comfortable and supported. She is incredibly caring, thoughtful, and always up to date on the latest science, which gives me so much confidence in the care she provides. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. The entire team at tri Valley pediatrics is very helpful and truly care about their patients read more

I will not bring my daughter back to this clinic. I rarely leave reviews, but I believe this experience needs to be addressed. Last year, our experience with this pediatric clinic was very positive. We were treated well by everyone, from the reception staff to the doctor. Unfortunately, this year's experience was completely different. The clinic initially contacted me and offered to schedule my daughter's annual examination. I appreciated the call because my schedule had made it difficult for me to arrange the appointment myself. The day before the appointment, after I had already confirmed it electronically, I received another call requesting insurance information. I was in a work meeting and explained twice that I could not speak at that time. I offered to call back after 5:30 p.m. or provide the information early the following morning before our 10:00 a.m. appointment. Instead of acknowledging these options, the staff member continued asking the same questions and then asked whether someone else could answer them. I explained that I was working and that no one else was available. She then stated, "If you do not answer my questions, your daughter's appointment will be cancelled." I found this unnecessarily disrespectful. I had clearly communicated that I was willing to provide the information at a different time. No one called me back later that day, and I did not receive any notice that the appointment had been cancelled. To prevent further problems, my teenage daughter and I arrived early the next morning so that I could provide all the necessary information in person. The receptionist asked for a physical insurance card. I explained that my insurance provides only an electronic card and asked how I could submit it. Rather than offering assistance, the receptionist told me to upload it through MyChart. I explained that I did not have an active MyChart login. I had previously received only a link that allowed me to confirm the appointment using my daughter's date of birth. It did not provide access to an account, and I had never received a username or password. When I tried to explain this, the receptionist gave me a scornful look and continued responding in a dismissive manner. She requested my name and date of birth but did not clearly explain how this would help me upload the insurance card. At that point, I felt that my questions and efforts to cooperate were being treated as an inconvenience. Because of the way we were treated, I asked to cancel my daughter's appointment. This situation could have been resolved easily through more respectful communication and basic cooperation, unfortunately this clinic is evidently in lack of such 'frivolities'. read more

Dr. Lionel Herrera has cared for my children for years -- my son (now 24) and my daughter (17). He's an outstanding pediatrician with impressive medical knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and a truly caring manner. He always took the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make us feel comfortable and confident in his care. Highly recommend him to any family looking for a compassionate, skilled pediatrician. read more

Generally we see Dr Lionel and this time it was Dr Divya . She was horrible, careless and wasnt responsive on baby crying. This is also not that first time she does and i wouldnt recommend this place to any. read more

Excellent pediatric care with an amazing staff. Dr. Lionel is kind, knowledgeable and truly great with kids.

Our family has been coming to this practice for decades, from back in the 1980s when it was owned by the Drs. Anastasiou. It has recently changed owners but the quality of care remains the same, if anything, it has improved. We usually go to Dr. Namita as we have two girls and they are more comfortable with a lady doctor. When she's not available or there is an emergency, we ask for Dr. Sam, like this Thanksgiving weekend, when the girls were running around the house and a kitchen chair toppled and landed on our younger one's pinky toe. Thankfully, the TriValley Pediatrics Pleasanton office was open, and we got an appointment within an hour. After the usual COVID check-in process (temperature check and form filling), Dr. Sam examined our girl, diagnosed the injury, and fashioned a splint that fit her. His expert handling and advice left us parents feeling reassured, and knowledgeable about next steps to get our precious bundle back on her feet. As we left, the office staff entered our room to give it a good wipe down with disinfecting wipes. Thank you, Dr. Sam and TriValley Pediatrics. We are so glad you're in our corner. read more

TRI-Valley Pediatrics - The office was open on Thanksgiving weekend and able to take care our needs. - Pediatricians Near Me - Pleasanton, California

Been coming here for my daughter from last 4 years and cannot think of any other better facility. The staff and doctors are the best and provide personalized care. Rain or shine, sick or well they always take good care. I definitely recommend this place for your kids!! Dr Divya, Dr Sam, Dr Lionel, Amy, Anne, Demeter, and Laurie are hands down the best. read more

Very good doctors, good office experience and they take care of your children well. Would recommend to others...

We take all 3 kids here for their doctor appointments. The folks that answer the phone are very nice and work with you to schedule the appointments based on your availability. We frequent this location along with the San Ramon location. The only downside is the parking lot, the spots fill up quick and the slots are smaller than I'm use to. read more

Tri Valley Pediatrics is so great, both of my children are seen here and all the doctors are so wonderful! The staff are so sweet and everyone takes extra care of you during your children's appointment. The weekend hours are great especially if you have a sick child that needs to be seen. I recommend Tri Valley pediatrics if you are looking for exceptional and thoughtful care for your child. Dr. Lionel is so great as well! read more

All three of my kids have been going to Tri-Valley Pediatrics. It has been 10 years since we moved to Dublin. Dr. Lionel is amazing. He's quite knowledgeable and caring. As a paranoid parent, I often threw questions at him asking about all sorts of rare conditions (I googled too much before coming in), and he even knew about those rare conditions very well! There were a couple of times my daughter had to go to the ER, Dr. Lionel followed up with us after work and sometimes on weekends just to see how well she's doing and if we had any questions for him. This shows just how much he truly cares about his patients! read more

Thank you Dr Lionel for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor that you are! You always go above and beyond. I feel so blessed to know you and have you as my daughter's doctor. Big shout out to Genova the Medical Assistant! I have always been impressed with Genova's cheerfulness, professionalism, friendliness, charm, and kindness! read more

Efficient office and friendly staff. We see Dr. Sushma- she has a good bedside manner and doesn't rush through appointments. Her assistant (?) Anne is great, too! read more

We have had a good experience with Tri-valley pediatrics. Dr Lionel is our pediatrician and he does a great job. We have been taking our kids to this office for the last 5 years. The Doctors and staff are great. I think they understand that our kids are special to us, and they treat them the same way. They have maintained their quality of service and we look forward to going back when the kids are sick. read more

Since the birth of our child, Dr. Sam has been nothing but amazing. Being first time parents, we had many questions and he was very patients to answer all of them with details. We have been to both locations, Pleasanton and San Ramon, and both offices experiences have been amazing and wonderful every time. read more

My baby was having fever and vomittings and was wondering how to get to a doctor. Thankfully the front desk office folks arranged a same day appointment pretty fast. And we're able to meet the doctor and go through further reviewing. The staff is very accommodating. The nurse took care of the baby when taking tests etc... pretty well considering the high fever situation. read more

Amazing pediatrics office. Very friendly staff. Parking is a huge pain though so plan to arrive early to circle around.

I researched hours online and through word of mouth. We then narrowed down three pediatric offices and I literally held informational interviews with the three final offices and decided on Dr. Herrera at Tri-Valley pediatrics. When it comes to my first born I was not leaving anything to chance. First off my son was severely jaundice when born (luckily found by pediatrician as it is not easily visible in yellow skinned Asian.) He had to stay in ICU for about 10 days. He was diagnosed with G6PD Deficiency. We managed his blood level throughout infancy with assistance of pediatric office and he is now asymptomatic. My son is now 10 and my daughter 8 years old. My daughter is perfectly healthy; both received excellent care at Tri-Valley. Everyone in office has been friendly and responsive. They help squeeze in appointments when children are ill and need attention ASAP. The Dr. always call back promptly and leaves VM regarding test results and other important matters. My only complaint is that through the years, the office has grown. When we started there was only 4 doctors and we knew and liked them all - Lionel Herrera, Sam Pejham, Stephen and Mary Anastasiou. They've added two young female who are very friendly and also opened a San Ramon office. Although staff and service is still good, it is losing its small office family feel. I assume that they will add more Dr once their San Ramon office ramps up. Also feel the strain on time on the Dr as they split office rounds between SR and Pleasanton. read more

Hands down, the best pediatricians office in the Tri-Valley! We have been a patient since 2006. The staff is friendly, know us by name and they are familiar with my kids' medical history. My baby was also born at Valleycare and the care we have received here is excellent. My older son has taken a liking to Drs. Sam & Mary but we have seen every doctor here (they now have 6) and they have all been good. They are great at accommodating same day appointments (including sick visits on Saturdays) and returning your phone calls/messages on the same day. I also like that they have 2 separate entrances; one for sick patients and one for well-visits. Highly recommend!!! read more

I want to give a huge thank you and air hug (covid time) to Dr. Lindsey ! My daughter had an issue today ( Saturday ) and I was a few hours away from her and felt helpless as a momma that I couldn't help her right away but between the front desk and on call staff we were able to get her a prescription sent up to her to pick up . Thank you for helping my daughter and helping me as a parent feel comforted . read more

Wonderful timely staff. I've been going here since I was a child, I am now 41. Quality of care and admin staff remain exceptionally high. Both my children were born with the Tri-Valley Pediatric staff - all 5 star doctors at Valley Care Hospital. Dr. Sam and Dr. Lionel along with retired Anastasiou husband and wife team were awesome right after they were both. We recently had an appointment with their newest staff member, Nurse Practitioner Lindsey Izurieta and she was outstanding, positive, fun and the kids adored her! Even after a round of shots no less they wanted to go back for another visit bc of her fun energy! Keep it up staff- wonderful team! read more

I saw Dr lindsey recently for my sons physical and she was extremely thorough. I really appreciate how all of the doctors take the time to listen to your questions and answer them thoroughly (making sure the child understands their body and what's going on.) Dr. Lionel is so "Cool"" according to my son because he makes a uncomfortable topic ....comfortable. Dr. Lionel is willing to answer any question & I now know that if our son isn't comfortable asking us something.... he can ask one of the Dr.'s at Tri-Valley Pediatric. Thank Yoo-hoo for always being there! read more

I like the doctors here, but I don't like how long you have to wait to be seen. Every time I've gone in I had to wait 14-45 mins, with a baby that's to long of a weight. I recommend doctor sam read more

I came here for my baby's 2 & 4 month well baby visit last year. I met Dr Nicole Sena and Dr Namita Agarwal. Both of them and the staffs were so kind but I had to find someone else who finally was able to find out what was wrong with my baby. My baby had a severe eczema and was spitting up (forcefully) so much to the point that I believed something was wrong. I told Dr Sena in details (how frequent, how many oz, etc) but she told me it's normal. So I met Dr Namita at 4 month visit. I kept asking her many times but she said it's normal. So I went to see Dr kruz at Sutter health. He listens and start asking me questions like how much, how often, when etc. He said my baby is not feeling comfortable inside and it's not normal. He explained me about all the possibilities associated to excess spit up in babies. He also explained me severe eczema can be associated with the development of food allergies. He then refer me to an allergy specialist. Found out my baby was allergic to so many things. As soon as I cut pistachios and daily, my baby's spit up amount and frequency decreased drastically. Both Dr's at Tri valley didn't say a word about how eczema is associated with allergy nor did think about other possibilities that could cause the excess spit up. They just told me to apply creams and excess spit up can happen and my baby is just fine healthy baby. That's it. If I continued seeing them, I may ended up giving my baby peanuts as Dr's usually suggest and my baby may have ended up going to ER. At this point, I didn't feel like seeing any other Doctors at Tri valley. Both doctors were kind but I had to find someone who listens and have more knowledge of various pediatric issues. read more

We went here for my daughter's ear piercing. I love my baby'e piercing. It was reasonably priced and included the earring. Everyone was friendly and nice. Office was pretty easy to get to. I will definitely recommend to everyone who wants medical piercing. read more

Since my baby was born I was trying to find a good doctor to care for him. We saw 4 different doctors. I was always trying to find someone good, that would listen to my concerns and not only rush through appointments. Dr Namita is the best doctor we have ever had. She really listens to you, waits until you finish asking or talking, and does not rush. She is great. The new office is San Ramon is beautiful, clean and organised. read more

Dr. Sam and Dr. Lionel and Dr. Namita are our favorites!!! So thorough and patient! Our daughters are 3 yrs old and 10 months old. When our older daughter turned 6 months, we transitioned to a physician practice that I actually work for. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the services my own employer provided. Decided to come back to Tri-Valley pediatrics after 3 visits with doctors I work with. Staff are all sweet and polite! Not all docs in this practice are as awesome as Dr. Sam and Dr. Lionel and Dr. Namita, but they are all good ;) read more

My children are now 19 and 20 and have gone to these doctors thier entire lives until recently. They have really cared well for my children! Dr. Stephen, I will never forget the night my son came into the ER with severe breathing issues and you came in and did not leave until he was stable! We never left your office because you, your wife, and all of your staff cared so much and so well for my children. Thank you all so much for all the years of excellent care! read more

So far this is the best pediatricians office in the Tri-Valley. We switched recently the kids to this clinic and we absolutely love it, specially Dra Lindsay, but they are all great doctors. They actually talk to us and aren't the robotic "question & answer" type of visit. I definitely recommend them. read more

Our son has been seeing Dr. Sam for a year now and we are very happy with the information he has provided us. The shots are quick and the staff is good with our son. The reception staff is friendly and helpful as well. We have seen a couple of the other Doctors there for next day appointments but we feel Dr. Sam is best one there. The only issue I had was a error in billing that I had to call about 5 different times to get fixed. The other issue is that sometimes they wont let you make your annual appointment after your visit, you have to call at a later time and you might forget. Other than that minor stuff we are very happy with Dr. Sam as a Doctor for our son. read more

We had an appointment at 2:00, just a wellness check up with a couple of shots. We didn't get finished until 3:30 and were kept waiting numerous times. The nurse said it was because they had a new computer system, I'm not sure how that would delay getting a couple of shots long after we saw the doctor. There were several nurses around but no one was helping us. When I asked if the nurse was coming I was told "yes, shortly." It was miserable waiting so long with a fussy toddler, time to find a new office. read more

Dr Namitha: Very personable and good. Dri Lionel: Always in a rush and more like an assembly plant and does not want to answer any questions/concerns you would have as a parent. wonder how did he become a pediatrician. Front Desk: Over crowded and not sure what they do. Not very customer friendly and has that feeling of "why am i here". And yeah, need to wait 1hr and 20 mins to see a doctor from the time of your appointment. Can understand if its late by 15-20 mins but this long and having a sick kid with you in that office isn't possible. read more

Friendly staff and awesome pediatricians! So happy I found them. They are very knowledgeable and have two locations.

Excellent doctors. My two kids are teens now and have been going here since birth. When one had pneumonia I was having daily chats and several visits with one doctor to check on status and evaluate when or if my kid might need to go to the ER for further treatment. When one kid was having odd and scary, possibly serious symptoms that were hard to explain, they worked with us, took time to talk to us, and got us into a specialist at Children's Hospital asap. I can't complain at all about quality of care. Sometimes waits are longer if there's sick kids they are seeing, but the trade off is when your own kid is sick, they find time to squeeze you in. I usually take my kids to the Pleasanton office, but the San Ramon location is nice too. The doctors all seem to work at both. I highly recommend this practice. read more

My kids , all 3 , were born at valleycare and have been patients since birth. My oldest is 11. 2 out of the 3 kids have had medical issues that were not passed onto a specialist, when they should have been. My youngest was born with a condition that could have become an inguinal hernia. The doctors knew this as they saw him from birth. He should have been sent to a specialist when he was 2. When my son was around that age, My son had herniated and I had taken him to see the doctors. The doctors ( I made 2 doctors look at him both Dr. Mary and Dr. Steven) said they could do nothing unless they saw it, and they couldn't send him to anyone because they don't know what it was. They had his chart right in front of him?????? I trusted them, the doctors, but I shouldn't have. Three weeks later, it happened again, 2 days before a huge family trip we were taking across the world. The hernia had subsided when we got to the office again. But Dr. Lionel told us, in a tone like we should have known better, that he should have gone to see a specialist. He told us we had to cancel our trip and that he had to have surgery within 2 weeks and if he herniated again between that time and the surgery, it could be life threatening. I should have seen the red flag then!!! But, It happened again with my older son too. I'll spare you the details but If I were not a diligent parent, this son, could have suffered life long complications. I had to literally yell and scream at the doctor to get me an appointment with a specialist. I didnt trust them this time I'll just say that he was hospitalized for a week after seeing the specialist. I feel like the doctors aren't seeing the big picture. they are great for a cold but nothing more than that. i understand that the doctors are limited, as the human body is so vast and complicted. But then pass off the patient to someone who can figure out the problem. I've been contemplating writing this review for over 6 months now. But I decided that it was important for other parents to know what I went through. Or at least, don't trust the doctors if you feel there is something wrong and go with your gut. read more

We've been visiting with Tri-Valley Pediatrics since day one. Overall, very satisfied with the practice. They have a great group of doctors who really care about your child's health and well-being. Our son was born in the same medical complex, and we were fortunate enough to meet Dr. Stephen who checked our son's health at the hospital. Dr. Mary, his wife, is also fantastic as well as Dr. Namita. Last month our son had a slight fever, so we had to bring him in for his first sick visit. We were very happy that they could see us, as it was a holiday, and we weren't sure if they were open. Dr. Lionel was the doctor on duty that day and I didn't appreciate the way he treated my husband. The other doctors are very obliging in answering any questions even if they are booked for the whole day. So we see Dr. Lionel and he gives my son a prescription for azithromycin. My husband had several questions, and by the third or fourth question, Dr. Lionel seemed to be a little annoyed about us taking his time. When my husband was asking his questions, Dr. Lionel was walking toward the door and saying "goodbye". It was a holiday, so the place was empty. Furthermore, I personally get upset when people ask me pointless questions and I get annoyed too, but this is the first time our son was ever sick, so I think just a few questions were expected and more than appropriate. He made it seem like we were asking stupid questions and we were wasting his time. We are still staying with Tri-Valley Pediatrics because I believe one bad apple doesn't ruin the whole bunch. We just won't see Dr. Lionel anymore, as we scheduled our son's 24 month appointment with Dr. Namita next month. read more

I have been going here since my 1st (preemie so we went A LOT) was born. They are amazing. Very caring and thoughtful. Anytime there has been a emergency they have got me right in. We seen all the doctors. They are all great. Primarily we see Dr. Lionel, totally trust his judgment on what to do for my kids! They have 2 locations, both are very nice and clean. The Pleasanton location has a "well side" and a "sick Side" which is a total bonus. The staff is great too! read more

Dr. Sam is the best, we are so lucky to have found him. He delivered our baby and is so great with her!

I recently moved here from SoCal and I am so impressed with these Doctors and staff! They remember my kids names. The doctor themselves call to follow-up on your child's health progress. They are open late on weekdays and open both Saturday & Sunday. I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes to see a doctor. The doctors are very thorough in their explanations. The staff always a step ahead of me. Great, Highly recommended. read more
