I had the hybrid pack replaced for my 2005 prius in Bowie, MD. It was a 2-hour drive from my place…read moreto their garage for replacement (saves $300 compared to having them coming to my place), but it was worth it. The mechanic there, Phil, took care of my car almost immediately after I arrived. It only took around 40 minutes of waiting. The battery I purchased comes with 18-month warranty. I've been driving with the new battery for a week now and everything is good so far. I will update if anything comes up. If you don't want to spend half the price of a 10 year old car for a brand new battery from the manufacturer/dealer just to drive it for a few mor years (like me), then Greentec battery is the way to go.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GREEN TEC AUTO! Do your research carefully! I recommend checking independent…read morereview sites, as I believe their Google ratings may not reflect the real customer experience. In my experience, Green Tec DOES NOT stand behind their warranty. My repair shop purchased a part from them that came with a 24-month warranty. When the part failed within that warranty period, it took almost two months for them to approve and provide a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement part failed in January within months of installation and within a 24 month warranty window. After weeks of repeated calls and messages, I was told that replacement parts are not covered under warranty. This means the replacement part provided was protected and junk, leaving me with another failed part, no support, and now no car. Since then, I have continued trying to contact customer service. Each time I explain the situation, I am transferred to voicemail, and my calls are not returned.

If l have any other tech issues, I would 100% recommend Best Buy Seat Geek. It was easy to make an appointment, and easy to access the department and the assistance they could offer.

The issues with this company are clearly widespread, but the Annapolis location deserves special…read moreattention because it consistently shows just how poorly this organization is run. Every time I've gone there, the parking lot is practically empty -- usually no more than a handful of cars, and it's obvious most of them belong to employees. Yet despite having almost no customers, the staff behaves as if they're overwhelmed or too busy to help anyone. Getting assistance at this location feels impossible. You practically have to stop someone in their tracks just to get acknowledged, and even then they either walk away and never return or act completely unsure about basic questions. It's not a one‑time issue -- it's every visit, every time. What makes this even more frustrating is that other locations are just as bad, which is why I've ended up driving 20 miles to Annapolis in the first place. Add in the unhelpful online and corporate teams, and it becomes clear that the problem isn't local -- it's the entire company. To top it off, the Google rating is extremely misleading. The store shows four‑plus stars, but when you look closely, many of those positive reviews are coming from employees, not actual customers. That alone says everything you need to know about how disconnected this company is from the real customer experience. Overall, the Annapolis location highlights the company's deeper issues: lack of service, lack of accountability, and a culture that simply doesn't value customers.
