I first secured Brad two years ago on a whim when I first moved into my townhome upon my very expensive divorce. And although my futons were from Walmart.com, he treated them like they were from Raymour and Flanigan. And he has done so with every piece of furniture, shelf, bookcase, rack, outdoor grill and wall hanging. I can literally walk around my space and say that Brad helped me to build my new home. All jobs which were very reasonably priced! Brad and his workers are not only highly skilled and more than proficient but they are caring and compassionate, where they want everything "just right". He took the time to explain what he was doing and why adjustments (if needed) had to be done. To me it shows that Brad understands that when it's not JUST about accurately completing the job, but sometimes having to go the extra mile shows understanding that everybody want to enjoy their home. As long as I need something done in my townhome I will only call Tri-State Assembly. This company has a customer for life!!!! read more

If you want a honest review read this one. I research the snot out of companies reading every review I can find, looking at BBB, Angie's List, Google, Yelp, etc. I call and interview 10+ companies when searching for any kind of service. I'm over the top, I don't trust many people but without hesitation I can tell you stop your search right here with Brad and his company Tri State Assembly. Being in the military I feel my attention to detail is higher than the average human and Brad met and exceeded every single expectation of mine when installing a basketball hoop in my driveway. Now this may seem like a mundane task but it's not. My dirt was filled with large rocks, unlevel and very tricky. Most companies told me they wouldn't come out to install a hoop for less than $5,000 and Brad not only was the ONLY company to have my hoop in stock but install it for half that price. Brad and Brittany tag teamed this project and I've never been happier with the service they provided. My only request is that if you hire them make sure you feed them Gatorade and Lunch because I did and they deserved it. You won't find a harder worker than Brad. You won't find someone who puts his whole heart into a project more than Brad. Brad is THE guy to have on speed dial. I will definitely be hiring them again for any service I need done around the house, believe that! read more

If you want your in-ground basketball hoop installation to be done correctly, Brad is your guy! He is very knowledgeable about a myriad of basketball hoop brands due to his level of experience. I wanted to surprise my boys & replace their old hoop that looked like it was from The Walking Dead. LOL! He was very patient with my MANY questions. After a ton of research, I decided to go with the Ironclad which can handle dunking & also has an adjustable height. Brad & his crew came out on time & began the removal of the existing hoop after explaining the process. They dug a deep hole and poured lots of cement to make sure that the new hoop wouldn't wobble. The end result was simply mind-blowing! My boys were amazed & even a few neighbors asked for his business card. They were very professional & left nothing behind. I'm so glad that I decided not to go with a local retailer's third-party installer. I definitely will be doing business with Tri-State Assembly in the future. read more

Similar to other reviews, I do a lot of research before hiring anyone to do work for me. I had a very complicated dresser to assemble with poorly written instructions. Brad was very professional and particular and didn't cut corners; he made sure the job was done right and obviously took pride in his work. I highly recommend him. read more

Had Brad assemble office furniture including L-Shaped desk, bookshelf and printer stand. Brad and his staff were professional, completed the work, and cleaned up everything afterwards. I would recommend Tri-state Assembly to others. read more

Brad from Tristate is awesome! I hired him to install a Megaslam basketball hoop which weighs 600lbs and requires multiple visits for installation - one for digging the hole and pouring the cement footer and another visit to assemble and install the hoop. He is very meticulous and takes his work very seriously. He showed up on time and did a great job!!! Thanks Brad! read more

Brad did an excellent job, and the hoop looks great! He and his assistant took their time and made sure that everything turned out perfectly. I found Tri-State Assembly on the Home Advisors website. I had Brad at Tri-State Assembly do a re-install of my in-ground basketball hoop which had been installed incorrectly years ago. Brad and his assistant were timely, the quote was accurate, the work was excellent and professional. I would use them again and I recommend them to anyone who wants quality work. read more

The first time we used Brad's company he and his partner did a great job assembling our bedroom sets in our new apartment. We reached out to him again when we bought our new house to see if he would be able to move us and assemble the same bed and do some other work that he specializes in. He agreed he could do the job. We were skeptical right around move out time because he was not responding to our calls/text. We thought we would have to go with another company but right at that moment he suddenly got back to us. He came out at 9am to start packing our heavy furniture (1 queen bedroom set, 2 couches, 2 tv screens, a small round dining room table with 4 chairs, & a children's metal bunk bed) and didn't finish loading everything until close to 7pm!! I couldn't believe it took him that long especially considering that my husband who has a bad back was helping him. It was after 7pm and dark outside by the time they arrived at our new house to unload and assemble the furniture. They finished unloading their truck a little past 11pm. My son and I were exhausted!! Especially me since I'm pregnant and just wanted to lie down in our bed. Brad realized that he misplaced the screws for our bed!!!! He couldn't find them anywhere!!! He thought he might have left them back at our apartment which was in another state. I could not believe this! He then had the audacity to tell us that he could come back in two days because he has to be with his family that next morning for home schooling. I couldn't believe my ears!! So I asked him "so you mean to tell me you made a mistake and we have to sleep on the floor for 2 nights because of your family obligations?!" He then said "well you have the mattresses to sleep on until I can come back to assemble the bed." He ended up not assembling ANYTHING because he said he was tired and been working all day! I told my husband to get our money back since we would be hiring another company to assemble our furniture and mount our TV's. To make matters even worse the screws were not at the apartment and not anywhere. Thankfully the new company we hired through HANDY.COM was able to size our bed holes and went out to buy the screws we needed and put everything together very quick and professional. Even mounted our TV's and did some other miscellaneous work we needed done. We will NEVER EVER use Tri State Assembly again! Brad was UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, UNREALISTIC, UNPREPARED, INCONSIDERATE, INCOMPETENT, and just truly a WASTE of our time and money! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! read more

Brad and his staff were great to work with. They were very responsive and their prices were reasonable. They installed a new basketball hoop for my daughter. Their work was great - the even cleaned up their mess both times they were at the house (one to set the concrete and the second to install the hoop). I would highly recommend them. read more

October 12th, I sent Brad picture of the bedroom set, he quoted me for $300, I told him, I want the installation to be done for $250, he said no. Ok, that's fine. Few weeks later " He Brad " texted me asking if I still need the service, I said yes for $250, he agreed, we scheduled installation for Thursday at 9:30 am. The night before, he texted me asking for my email to send invoice, I gave it to him, no problem at all. Thursday at 9: 20 am, I got an email asking me to call him back. When I called Brad back, he said he would not be able to do it for $ 250, he was going through the instructions, that's a lot of work at "9:20 am". That's unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful, It's not about the price change. It's about I sent You picture of the bedroom set from the manufacture, YOU contacted me back few weeks later agreeing with $250, You scheduled the installation time " 5 days later), You texted me the night before at 7:24 pm , You called me at 9:20 am, 10 minutes before your arrival time to tell me you can't do it for $250. You are not a person of integrity, no character at all, your action is barbaric, low, and unprofessional. And He "Brad" told me that's not unprofessional. Like Harriet "...I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves" read more

I hired Brad at Tri-state Assembly to install an in-ground basketball hoop in my yard and shelving in my garage. The experience was exhausting, stressful and completely chaotic. Brad spent a significant amount of time overselling himself and overpromising on his ability to perform/complete the projects in not only a timely manner, but also professionally and ethically. He did not deliver on any of these promises. He was late to every appointment that he made with me and on two occasions did not show up for his appointments nor did he call ahead to cancel them. He was unable to complete either projects but kept asking for me to pay him in advance for work that was incomplete. In fact, he left my garage in complete disarray and said he would return the following day to assemble the shelving in my garage. Also, he left the excess soil that he dug from the hole for the basketball pole on my lawn and did not return to remove that either. After several days passed, I had to hire someone else to remove the soil and install the shelving in my garage. I found Brad to be extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I would not recommend him to anyone. Buyer beware!! read more
