I've been going here for years ever since they had the location on Fuqua St. and I have never, NEVER, had their employees follow me around in the store. But as soon as they move the new location off the Beltway 8 near HEB. One of their employees, the cashier; follows me around in the store. I always come in and buy the same thing I've been buying for years. I didn't confront them and ignored it at first. If he does it again, I will confront them. It's normally the cashier or someone standing near the cashier. I'm AA woman and I don't appreciate being followed around the store as if you think I'm going to steal. I haven't stole and I won't start. That's not my forte. Get off my back and let my skin breathe. I want to be able to walk around the store like I've been doing for many years and don't need you to follow me like some creep. About the pills, they have a wide selection and it's still expanding. I only get one certain pill and like everything else it's gone up. It used to be $15 a box now it's $23 a box. Oh my he-ba jebbies? Made the track from Spring Texas to TriHealth. The staff is informed about products and take there precious time to assist you. I don't think I have ever come to the location and no one was there or it was slow. They do a fine job and be attentive to all customers unlike most of the place on the North side. What the heck am I doing in a vitamin/health store? Well, I've been tipped off by someone about the powers of Curamin. The great thing about here is the elder gentleman that is here to help you find what you need, he'll explain in educated detail in what you are looking for, why and suggestions. This store is located in the same parking lot as Pho 21, Tapioca place (I forgot the name, the but one in one of my reviews where I said it smells like butt when you first walk in) and I think a Randall's. When you see a Whataburger as your driving west bound down Fuqua it is there. $47 for a bottle of Curamin. Parking never a problem. Store very clean. Hint: what you find online isn't always what you in find in stores. I came here looking for some Nubian and Shea Moisture soap that they had listed on their website thinking I could come in to find in store---come to find out they didn't have it. Everybody knows that all healthy things comes with a huge price tag, so yeah this store may be extremely expensive, but I noticed how they did have average priced items too. They sell organic food selections here in the back of the store. The lady in the front seemed nice and didn't profile or eyeball my sister and I as we looked around the store. Lighting in the place isn't that bright shining in your eye, and I expected to hear ambient type of music here to but instead I got Katy Perry. They do have a very tiny variety of natural soaps for the body. They sell health vitamins, body products, and energy boost bars here. I just wish I could've found what I was looking for. read more

I wasn't feeling well and went to get my blood drawn. I had a slew of ailments and wasn't sure where to start. The nurse recommended this place and I am so grateful she did. I walked in and waited to speak to the old man. I showed him my lab sheet and he basically told me about all the symptoms I've been having. He recommended a few things and told me in detail about the benefits they would have. He leaned me toward trusted brands and efficacy (some were even cheaper). This has got to be the best vitamin/supplement shop on the SE side of Houston. My experience has always been personable, you get one on one service and the staff know their stuff, they're not talking fluff. My son started having acne really bad, staff suggested a supplement and it started working in 2 days, his face had cleared completely and it has now been 5 days since taking zinc. I've been a customer of Tri Health for 35 years. Herman, the owner, has helped me so many times with consideration and care. He helped bring my bp down when a pain doctor made a terrible mistake; he's helped me with on-going thyroid problems, progesterone problems. He's sincere in his dealings with people, and always has been. He's been a wonderful employer to several long-term employees over the years. He is quiet, unassuming and very popular with people with good advice over the phone and in person. He even offered to mail things recently since I have become incapacitated. While I was waiting in line to be checked out, an employee asked me a question about my community card (which I was holding at the time). It was going to be my 2nd transaction per that visit because on my way out I saw several more items I wanted to purchase. As I was answering the employee's question, the employee who was acting as cashier (a middle-aged, Caucasian woman), cut me off and told me I had already received 10% off of my first purchase for using my community card. I told her I was making another purchase and she started yelling at me in front of her co-workers and other customers. She angrily told me that she was checking someone out and that I could wait my turn to make my purchase. I was honestly in shock by not only how bizarre it was for her to say that to me when I was quietly waiting my turn in line & never once rushed her nor was I talking to her when I was answering her coworkers question. Her coworkers question was simply, "what kind of card is that?" & my answer was "my community card". So why she felt the need to intercede and then falsely accuse ME of being rude was beyond me. I calmly told the rude cashier that I never once tried to rush her and I left the store. She never apologized & I was so embarrassed and shaken from her screaming at me out of nowhere that I just didn't want to be there anymore or do business with them. My entire experience at the store was poor, I came with my mom and toddler and we had someone following us around at all times (like he was going to break something). I even had an employee tell me I would be buying the things my son broke (he never came close to breaking anything bc I was either holding him or he was within arm's reach). I'm not the kind of person who lets my child use other's businesses as their playgrounds and find it extremely disrespectful when parents do that so it was insulting to me when I never allow my child to be a disturbance in public. If you hate kids that much don't have samples for them and so many products for them (a lot of what I bought was for him & were items for his age group). My mom's second language is English and she still has an accent. Her accent and ethnicity doesn't mean she's uneducated or less of a person for the record. She has a doctorate in holistic health and alternative medicine. She's made her life's work studying herbs and foods that have healing properties and she recently moved to Houston to practice and wanted to find a health foods store in the area. I mistakenly brought her here where she was treated like a second grade citizen by people who didn't know half as much as she did and who ignored her questions regarding the origins of certain products. An employee even told her incorrect information regarding the medicinal properties of one of the products she was buying and anyone else would have thought it was true. It made my mom concerned bc she said misinformation regarding the sale of such products could have dire consequences on people's health. I would like to leave y'all w/one last bit of advice which is to treat all customers equal regardless of age, race & ethnic background, the very person you're talking down on could be the last person you'd treat that way if you knew who they were. We came feeling excited and with a lot of great, fun energy, and left feeling disappointed & shameful, the feeling you're left with when someone who doesn't know you treats you like garbage because of the way you look/talk. read more
