Also very polite and kind on the phone. When the technician came, he was great too -- quick, polite, professional and did a great job. The prices were also very reasonable. Our previous septic service company (Shortys) was bought out by this company. We didn't realize…read morethis until we called that we assumed was Shortys. They told us he retired and they were running things much better, etc. Although, they didn't give firm dates of service just a week of they claimed they would contact us the day prior to inform us an ETA. Instead, this afternoon, I received a text message saying a technician was in route to my home. I had to scramble out of a meeting to deal with an unannounced service and contact the place. I was greeted by a dismissive manager, Mike who began his communications with "Listen, here's the deal, if you don't like us or our pricing go find someone else." Transitioning away from a business you trusted for years is tough enough, but being met with that level of hostility and dismissive attitude is a hard stop for us. Oh and one more minor detail.....Their 113% PRICE HIKE (from $300 to $640) is bad business, plain and simple. Since they made it clear they don't value our business, we are going to take Mike's "advice" and look elsewhere. PEACE OUT, MIKE & BOLTON SEPTIC

They were prompt and worked quickly to get the job done. The owner was concerned that the filter in the second tank might be clogged up and suggested my husband dig the second tank and look at the filter. It was so full we couldn't get to the filter so we called back and he fit us in to his busy schedule to suck out the tank. Luckily it was only plugged and started to drain at once. Better then having a new field installed. They have always done right with us.

HORRIBLE communication! We paid half of the cost up front and were told 3 weeks until they could…read morestart. 3 weeks came and went and NOT a word from JW Fields. We called every Fri for 3 more weeks to get a status on a start date. The lady in the office was ok the first few times until my husband said, "Every time I call you, you tell me the exact same thing (you will talk to Brent on Monday and get back to me) and then you NEVER get back to me" She became very rude and nasty after that!!! We were told the crew would work Fri and Sat and be done. That was FALSE! They never showed up Sat as expected. When we called Brent, we were told that we needed an inspection which was scheduled for Monday then the crew would finish. Monday morning the crew came and took all the equipment and left. Stating that the inspectors were back logged and he didn't know when the inspector would get here, even though Brent had told us it would be Monday? The inspector showed up 20 mins after the crew had left with all the equipment. We called Brent and he said, "I will send the crew right back to finish" That NEVER happened!!! And they didn't show up the next day either! Don't BS us or tell us what you think we want to hear! We want the TRUTH and correct timelines! Communication is key in dealing with customers and JW Fields really needs to work on that! On a positive note the crew was nice, respectful and seemed knowledgeable!
