I called to ask how long it would take and they said a few days. I asked the pharmacist (unfortunately I don't know his name) if there was any way to get it done sooner. He said that he could give her a suspension of the same medication, and that wouldn't take as long and he would do it asap. I know he had to also take the time to talk to the vet to get the dosing right. The next day when I picked up the script, he asked how my dog was doing. You really don't get service like this anymore, anywhere. The person who rang me out was nice and the pharmacy itself is cute with random stuff. I'm thinking of moving my own prescriptions over here from cvs, even though it would be a farther trip to get them. Great service! Thanks!

The staff aren't the most conversational & are very short with you - no "have a good day," "thanks for coming in," etc. However, they always get prescriptions filled very quickly & will call doctors for you if you need a renewal/are out of refills. The interior is a bit dated and could use a remodel, but it also isn't meant to be a Rite Aid, Walgreens, or CVS loaded down with other stuff. This is your local, hometown pharmacy & we'll continue to support them for as long as we can.

He had completed all my dental work in the early-mid-2000s when I desperately needed it. I did not get any dental care as a child and was never taught how to properly care for my teeth so I've had a lot of dental work, root canals, crowns, a bridge, orthodontics, etc. I decided to stay and meet the new dentist and I could not be happier. Dr. Juracka is amazing; he is extremely gentle, he's very kind and I'm happy to have him as my dentist. His work is beautiful and he completes the work painlessly. My bridge needs replacing after about twenty years. I am a bit scared of having it removed but I have every faith in this dentist and his work. Kym and Kim are both wonderful! The cleanings I get here are quick and painless. I have gotten my oral hygiene habits down pat; my gums are healthy and I do not need scraping when I get my teeth cleaned. Not scared to get a cleaning anymore. Diana at the front office is also wonderful. She's friendly, remembers your name and asks about things in your life. She helps make you comfortable from the moment you walk into the office. I highly recommend this practice. Especially if you're scared of the dentist, this is the practice for you. They are truly warm, caring and kind. They will do everything they can to ensure your comfort. The dental work you receive here is absolutely world class, top notch perfection.

The vision center is quite well set-up. You are required to phone in from the parking lot, and they will call you back when they're ready for you to enter. Everyone is required to wear a mask, and the office staff are behind plexiglass. The waiting room is large with chairs well spaced. All exams and consultations are one on one. Parking might be an occasional concern. I read through all of the reviews and was very surprised at the many which were listed as 'not…read morerecommended' as they were excellent! So let me share my personal experience with you. I was referred to Dr. MaiAn Vu by a friend who, like me, is a chicken when it comes to going to the dentist. She said, "you will love her", and my friend was right. Although I live in the Saratoga Springs area, I had an emergency and needed to go to the Chauvin Family Dentistry's Clifton Park office because they were open that day. That's where I met an "Angel", Ellen, who is (or was the last time I was there) the receptionist in their Clifton Park office. This was during a very bad time in my life when I was going through some serious financial struggles (my husband - now ex - disappeared one day and left me with a stack of overdue, unpaid bills and no money). Ellen was compassionate and understanding. She worked it out so that I could pay the bill off a bit each month without shame. The overall care that I received was outstanding. I wish that I could have continued to go to the Clifton Park office but their practice was not on my medical plan's approved list. Unfortunately, paying out of pocket for routine cleaning and x-rays was not an option. Even though I had been going to a dentist closer to home (and on my program) for periodic check-ups and cleanings, when I needed a crown I went to Dr. Vu and to Ellen's office. I paid out of pocket because crowns were not covered in my dental plan (they just want to pull your teeth!). Because they are THAT GOOD! I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vu and Ellen. Unfortunately, once again, their practice is not on my fiance's dental plan's approved list, which is really a bummer.

I have been a loyal Bay Optical customer, purchasing multiple pairs of glasses for my daughter…read more Unfortunately, but our most recent experience was so negative that we will not be returning. When we picked up my daughter's glasses at the Saratoga office in October 2023, the optician was rude and dismissive. The glasses didn't fit properly, so we returned for an adjustment. I specifically requested another staff member, who was more polite, but the glasses still slipped. On a third attempt, this time at the Glens Falls office, we again left with glasses that would not stay on my daughter's face. The far bigger issue came when I requested my daughter's pupillary distance (PD) measurement -- part of her patient record and something I am legally entitled to. I am aware that PD can be measured when new glasses are issued or taken at home, but that does not give them the right to withhold information that legally belongs to me when I requested it. For clarity: According to sections 29.1(b)(7) and 29.2(b) of the Rules of the Board of Regents and section 18 of the Public Health Law, providers must release this information upon request. The NYS Office of the Professions confirms this here: https://www.op.nysed.gov/professions/ophthalmic-dispensing/frequently-asked-questions Despite citing the law and sending multiple emails, multiple phone calls, and even mailing a written request, Bay Optical refused to provide it for nearly two years. At one point I was even hung up on. They could have just given me the PD from 2023, but instead they gave me a copy of my daughter's 2017 prescription (which I never asked for) . With the help of the NYS Office of the Professions, I finally received the documented PD from Bay Optical. No one should have to fight this hard for basic information. Between the poor service, the unprofessional behavior, and the refusal to comply until NY state got involved, Bay Optical has lost our trust completely. I hope if anyone else asks for their record information and it gets denied, this review helps speed up the process for you. You can contact the NYS Office of the Professions directly at conduct@nysed.gov. This review reflects my personal experience, and I encourage others to review the law for themselves.
