Worst vision care ever I've ever had. After complaining multiple times that something was wrong with the new glasses they made me, (and told I just needed to get used to them) I finally went to another eye clinic to discover I had a cataract in one eye causing serious loss of vision. It's inconceivable to me that an eye doctor could miss the fact that I had a cataract in one eye. After spending $400 on new glasses they are utterly useless. What a waste of a lot of money. Needless to say, I'm extremely upset with this "vision care" clinic. read more

My whole family comes here for their glasses and contacts. This company is full of great workers and fair prices. The doctor has been one of the friendliest doctors who my kids feel comfortable with. They have many different glasses to choose from and great warranties for them. They have fast turn around time with glasses and contact orders. This was the best experiences we have had at a Optometrists Office. My two boys loved coming here over and over again. They get excited to see the caring staff who always listened to every word they said. We wont be going anywhere else!! Also, their prices we extremely low. My vision coverage paid almost 100% of our selections. Which is never the case at the other any other vision place we tried. We are very thankful to have found Glens Falls Vision Care !!! read more

Every time I go there I regret it. The doctor is fine but the office staff is not! I have had many different issues. Today was the absolute worst and if I did not need new glasses so dang bad I would go elsewhere. The Corona virus has made it extremely difficult to get in to see a doctor. This time there was a screw up in my appointment. The women claimed I wasn't on the schedule and asked for proof which I showed her. Then she made a bunch more negative comments. She made several comments about my insurance being affiliated with medicaid. What difference does that make? No , not everything is covered but I pay!!! She gave me a really hard time! I need new glasses very badly or I would certainly wait to get in elsewhere but I need to see. Today was horrible. I would avoid this place if you don't have thick skin! read more

My fiance and his family have used Glens Falls Vision Care for decades, and they've always been very pleased. After walking out of this place I felt like I had just been through a used car salesman's pitch. Constantly trying to get you to buy glasses, contacts, and then more expensive glasses. And then I paid for a contact eye exam and was written a prescription for a brand of contact that was only available for sale at the eye doctors, not online. The price difference was: GF Vision Care, $80 per box. 1800Contacts.com, $27.99 per box. I will never visit this place again, terrible experience and not recommended. read more

The team here will really work with you to find a solution. I ran out of contacts before my scheduled appointment and Dr. Winters got me in in 15 mins and sent me out the door with temporary contacts. Great people! read more

Glens falls vision care is a very unprofessional office. I have waited a year for warranty replacement lenses and I keep getting the run around as to why I do not have them. I have been told every reason such as the lab made a mistake , the order was lost and the list goes on. The owners do not manage the business as their personal life is more important than treating paying customers with a professional attitude. I would not recommend this office for anything. About two weeks ago, I received a notice that my yearly eye exam was due and it gave me an appointment time, which I could change if it wasn't convenient. I looked forward to this visit, which I probably wouldn't have arranged because I had forgotten all about my yearly eye exam. The folks there are pleasant and helpful and made me feel welcome. The doctor asked me if I had any concerns to report and proceeded to perform the exam. During the exam, I could see that i had been missing real clarity, and the doctor said that he felt he could make some changes in my prescription that would improve my vision. He also advised me on the health of my eyes. I was pleased that my eyes were found to not have any major problems, which made me happy as well. I would recommend their services to anyone. read more

I have officially decided to chose another company for my vision care, I called and left messages and asked for a call back so I can schedule an appointment, never got a call back. I shouldn't have to chase someone down to give them my money so I can see. Unfortunately I really do like Dr Ryan Winters, he's a very nice guy and very professional. But the office staff is a problem for me and I just can't look past that. read more
