It is not possible to have had a more professional, helpful and empathetic experience. The process…read moreof a christian burial is overwhelming. Much to do in little time. There is an announcement and obituary that must be written, casket selection, cemetery plot, images for a memorial slideshow, song selection for the church, selection of readers and pall bearers, a portrait must be selected and much, much more. Erin, Rebecca and David didn't just assisted with each task, they bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. There was a template to help with the obituary, guided assistance for selecting just the right casket and a portal for uploading pictures. No matter what it was, it never seemed like it was any trouble at all for them. Also, we were never hurried. They sat and talked as long as we wanted to. David even came by our house after the service and sat and talked to my dad for what must have been an hour. And wouldn't you know, after writing the obituary, we found typos! Panic set in. Erin, made the requested changes with Legacy and the newspaper. Thank you!!! Rebecca patiently guided us through many of the decisions that needed to be made. She is gentle, thorough and reassuring. Chapter II. After getting together with my siblings to plan the services, all three of us contracted COVID. That meant we could never attend the services that we planned. Again, the memorial crew jumped in to help. Before the viewing, they placed mom, the flowers and memorial slideshow in an outdoor patio. We were allowed an hour with mom while isolating from others. I am eternally grateful for that simple act. The other services were live streamed so that we were able to view the services from home. After the service, they brought the flowers by our house and gave up a beautiful memorial book and crucifix to keep. Thank you just doesn't seem enough.

Rebecca handled my dads funeral like a boss. It was a hard time for us all but she showed us…read moreoptions in a very clear and precise manner, handled our questions with care and truly made it an easier experience for us. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you

I cannot say enough how much Glenn and his team helped us during a very difficult time. They were…read morekind, professional and proactive in making sure things were taken care of. Glenn even stayed with us at the office until 11pm one night to make sure things were done right and with enough time to get everything done. Everything for the memorial and burial went smoothly, in large part due to their efforts. I strongly recommend them when you need them.

My beloved was sent to Hilliard immediately after he passed. No medical examiner, no questions from…read morethem about his medical history etc. Every single aspect of my personal experience with the College Station location was very questionable. I was told I couldn't see his body. At the burial, the director came up to the casket and noticeably made sure it was locked. This was only a peek into the overall shadiness that surrounded what I feel was one of many things. After signing a contract and paying them, they 1st changed the obituary to add some strangers saying they were his family and took me out. When addressed, she changed it back for a day and finally removing his remembrance all together. They are not fact checkers and have been ridiculously disrespectful to my the actual family of my husband and have disregarded any and all truth about his life and wants and facts. They care nothing of the legacy of the deceased, only that you continue to trust them and make sure you pay. The obituary is something that everyone should be able to read and know my Chris. I've wondered why the parking lot is empty and now I know. They do nothing according to follow legal procedure and or even acknowledge that there is one. Truth is a funny thing. If if doesn't come out when you wash the dirt away, it will in the rinse.mGood Luck .

My family's relationship with Allen Dave goes back to 2011 when we contacted Allen Dave to handle…read morethe "pre-need" services for my mother-in-law. During the services we were impressed with the order and professionalism Allen Dave and Namon Thomas provided for our loved one. Little did I know that three months after my mother-in-law's death I would lose my precious mother also. Once again we contacted the professionals to assist during this mournful time. Since 2011, we have called on their services for my sister in 2015, an aunt in 2019, a brother in 2022 and most recently a brother in May of 2025. When you are in need you can "trust" that your family member will be treated with the utmost respect from the professionals at Allen Dave Funeral Home. We have built a "Relationship" with them. When your time comes they will answer the call. Arthur Chenier.

No matter how emotionally prepared you think that you may be for the death of a loved one, you're not. Add to that moment all of the phone calls, the family saddened by the news and trying to make arrangements. Because there was a Pre-Need policy secured in advance, Allen Dave Funeral Homes did an excellent job at removing a load of stress with just one phone call. He was understanding and and handled the conversation of death with delicacy. He told the family "I got this, and he did." He made a tough process beautiful and enjoyable. Thank you for caring for my friend's family so well. They were all very pleased. I didn't mean to write a book, but Great job Allen Dave!
