It is always clean and the lawn is cut every week. The path that goes around the park is a nice little mile loop. I like to walk it when we come here for practice. The playground is small, but it is also clean. We have come here for baseball practice and those fields are ok for practice, but thats it! The only complaint I have is that the bathrooms are always filthy. Bring your own hand soap or sanitizer. I know its a park, but I have been to plenty of parks in the area and the bathrooms are kept nicer than this.

The big fields used to be barren riddled with massive pot holes (my oldest has sprained her ankle twice at this field), but it has had a makeover since. I don't feel like they have the capacity to host tournaments as it was a hot mess in the last one we played in. They have closed down one side of the fields and parking I heard to put in baseball fields so parking was atrocious. Bathrooms are not usually very clean, but they do have a snack bar open and volunteers patrolling on golf carts.

The teeny tiny parking lot holds maybe 16 cars, but there's plenty of parking right outside in the residential area. We went today, which is a Friday and although the street signs said No Parking on Fridays due to street sweeping, at least a dozen cars were parked so I took a chance and parked on the street too, hoping the patrol and street sweep already happened. I carried our camping chairs and stuff and posted up inside the splash pad where there was shade under a big palm tree. They had 4 concrete benches and ledges but most were not shaded. A bunch of families had their blankets and chairs set up outside the splash pad fence under all the trees. The restrooms were just past the front of the entrance to the splash pad. The play ground was right next door with some shade and a good size jungle gym and 4 swings, 2 of which are those giant chair swings. And because it is summer, the school district had 3 pops that were serving free lunch to all the kids. Fridays was cheeseburgers, which was perfect! They packed up around 12:30pm, so come before noon! We had a blast and will definitely come back this summer!

Unfortunately, after a recent incident that I don't want to get into, my opinion of this park has completely changed. While I had never experienced anything quite like what happened during my last visit, I have had smaller, somewhat similar situations happen here before. I brushed them off at the time, but after this most recent experience, I definitely look at this park differently. One thing I have noticed almost every time I've visited is the amount of children who seem to be completely unsupervised, running around and doing whatever they want without a parent nearby. I'm definitely a helicopter parent when we're at parks because anything can happen in a matter of seconds, and let's be honest, the world we live in nowadays doesn't always feel safe. I understand kids are there to play and have fun, but parents still need to be present and aware of what their children are doing. During my last visit, there was also a group of people smoking weed at the park, and the smell was EXTREMELY obvious. Listen, there's nothing wrong with what adults choose to do on their own time, but please keep it away from children and family areas. A children's park and splash pad is not the place for kids to be surrounded by the smell of marijuana. It's unfortunate because I genuinely enjoyed bringing my kids here, especially for the splash pad. But after my last experience, I highly doubt I'll be returning. Sometimes one situation is enough to completely change how comfortable you feel in a place, and unfortunately, that's what happened for me with Celebration Park.

They closed the water area every 30 min to allow the next group of people in line in. But before they did that the lifeguards wiped down all areas of the play structures. It was a process but nonetheless the kiddos had a great time. Luckily, I had extra clothes for the grandkids to change out of, otherwise we would have to play in the dry playground while hearing and seeing the kids enjoy the Splash Pad. The playground has their rules and regulation posted on the gates. The restrooms are just outside of the play area, so very convenient. There is nice green grass in some areas and some picnic tables and stationary benches. I believe on of the rules is that you cannot set up canopy's, but I did see people set up a couple. I don't know if they have someone police the area if people are abiding by the rules. It wasn't a bother to anyone but I'm sure there is a reason for having that rule. The play area is nicely padded. The play equipment is nicely spread out where you could really view your littles as they run free with your close eye on them. There are different areas with equipment that is age appropriate. For sure I would return. Plenty of parking, it is clean and the grandkids and I love it here!

The slide is high and there are some challenging climbing areas. The swing set and teeter-todder is set near a smaller play area for younger children. The walking path behind the park is also nice and the kids enjoyed the hanging bars. Overall, it's a wonderful playground for kids to run and work off their energy!!

For a party, it's very much like renting a private park, but you have access to bathrooms, electricity, the animals, etc. Peggy was so helpful and knowledgeable. I really couldn't have done it without her help, and I felt the cost was very reasonable. For science camp, their teacher, Lisa, is fabulous and also taught my other daughter back when my now-freshman was in preschool. They did so many fun, age-appropriate activities and she was always so tired out from all the playing. We will certainly be back again. Now I'm hoping to find time in our busy schedule for the play times they offer as well.
