We have come for events like building your own stuffed animal, and our little loved it! We also come here for the volleyball league, and way back when we came for toddler soccer. With the exception of an employee who no longer runs the volleyball program, everyone who we have encountered has been very helpful and friendly. There are always fun events going on as well as blood drives. They have all kinds of flyers on the desk for all kinds of events going on, definitely something for everyone!

The big fields used to be barren riddled with massive pot holes (my oldest has sprained her ankle twice at this field), but it has had a makeover since. I don't feel like they have the capacity to host tournaments as it was a hot mess in the last one we played in. They have closed down one side of the fields and parking I heard to put in baseball fields so parking was atrocious. Bathrooms are not usually very clean, but they do have a snack bar open and volunteers patrolling on golf carts.

It is always clean and the lawn is cut every week. The path that goes around the park is a nice little mile loop. I like to walk it when we come here for practice. The playground is small, but it is also clean. We have come here for baseball practice and those fields are ok for practice, but thats it! The only complaint I have is that the bathrooms are always filthy. Bring your own hand soap or sanitizer. I come here frequently to either play pickle ball with the Yucaipa Pickleball club, take my son to the playground, and even for a date picnic with my wife. The park is well-maintained and the city has invested a lot of money and time into keeping the Park updated and continually making changes based off of the needs and requests of the community. I absolutely recommend bringing your family here for some safe, fun and activities!

There have been a few changes in the past few years here. The dog park is closed but it is my understanding that the city will be reopening it again over by the gazebo area. The skatepark is closed and the covered courts area has been expanded to where the skatepark used to be. Yucaipa's main skatepark is over next to the high school off of 13th street. The new covered area is now home to 4 permanent pickleball courts which makes for an amazing space for youth who may not have their own nets yet and for anyone to come play in the shade. Yucaipa Pickleball Club reserves these courts for club play through the city. Club hours are generally in the mornings and the 4th Saturday of the month. The park is in a Chapman Heights housing development. Not very big, but set up on a hill with a very nice view, is clean and safe, and has attractive landscaping. There were two small basketball courts and a playset the kids quite enjoyed - with the largest climbing wall I have seen in the area. It wasn't that crowded on a weekday (late afternoon) with ample street parking. As a bonus, there appears to be a nicely maintained trail running next to the park and up the hill behind. Will be returning to see where it leads...
