It is always clean and the lawn is cut every week. The path that goes around the park is a nice little mile loop. I like to walk it when we come here for practice. The playground is small, but it is also clean. We have come here for baseball practice and those fields are ok for practice, but thats it! The only complaint I have is that the bathrooms are always filthy. Bring your own hand soap or sanitizer. I know its a park, but I have been to plenty of parks in the area and the bathrooms are kept nicer than this.

The big fields used to be barren riddled with massive pot holes (my oldest has sprained her ankle twice at this field), but it has had a makeover since. I don't feel like they have the capacity to host tournaments as it was a hot mess in the last one we played in. They have closed down one side of the fields and parking I heard to put in baseball fields so parking was atrocious. Bathrooms are not usually very clean, but they do have a snack bar open and volunteers patrolling on golf carts.

If you hike out far enough you'll find old abandoned houses and structures, which is honestly one of the coolest parts. It gives the whole place a bit of history and something extra to explore. Also great for horseback riding and a solid spot to bring food and picnic without dealing with crowds. Simple, quiet, and worth going back to.

Be sure to wear a hat and bring water , this particular trail is my least favorite. I don't recommend to bring your fur baby , if you do. Please be careful this area has lots of over grown horse tail grass, it is so harmful to your fur babies. I would recommend to come during winter and cooler temperatures.

The park staff was friendly and helpful directing us to the correct field. The concession stand had a wide variety of treats. The restrooms were exceptionally clean compared to park facilities in other towns, and the seating around the baseball fields was more than adequate. All in all, this is the best baseball park we've ever been to.

The park is in a Chapman Heights housing development. Not very big, but set up on a hill with a very nice view, is clean and safe, and has attractive landscaping. There were two small basketball courts and a playset the kids quite enjoyed - with the largest climbing wall I have seen in the area. It wasn't that crowded on a weekday (late afternoon) with ample street parking. As a bonus, there appears to be a nicely maintained trail running next to the park and up the hill behind. Will be returning to see where it leads...
