I was using Austin Regional…read moreClinic and waiting months for appointments, never really able to establish a relationship with a doctor, and never able to get an rx when I was sick, meaning I was also relying on UrgentCare for strep tests or a UTI. One Medical is so amazing. Yes, you pay a membership fee, but then, YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE A DOCTOR. Like, the day you need to. Or, you do a video chat, or send your doctor a message that they actually respond to in a timely manner. The app is also super helpful and efficienct. They have this great feature that you can get immediate help for certain things like colds, yeast infections, or ordering a lab test. You fill out the information in the app, and someone gets back to you right away, putting in the lab visit or sending the rx to your pharmacy. I really don't think I have ever had medical access that is responsive and available when I need it. Their lab is open for drop ins throughout the day, and I have never waited more than 15 minutes to be seen. It is just really excellent service. I hope it stays this way!

I find it so upsetting that living in a square mile radius of The People's Community Clinic means listening to what sounds like a man standing outside 24 hours a day speaking into a loudspeaker and saying: "YOU ARE TRESPASSING. PLEASE LEAVE THE AREA. THIS AREA IS UNDER VIDEO SURVEILLANCE AND YOU HAVE BEEEN RECORDED." It is messing with my quality of life to an extreme. I come home at night and it's all I hear. I wake up sometimes at 5 o'clock in the morning to that same loud recording, all of our neighbors do. As I'm typing this, it's still going off. I've got recordings of it booming through my house 12 times within 15 minutes. I've called 311 and it helped for a little bit, but after some time the blasted alarm system was back on and going off every time a neighbor walks their dog across the street from it or a leaf blows by. I posted on Instagram about it and they reached out and apologized and said they would take care of it and they did for three days. Now I'm putting together a petition and I guess going to the town hall; because the peace and well-being of an entire neighborhood just doesn't matter to these people. Silent alarms are widely available. In fact every other building seems to use them. I really needed sleep this morning... I'm not getting enough sleep for work, this is really messing my life up. I am not someone who can afford to miss work. Please - PCC, do not reply and say that it's not your system because it is. I've driven over there to see where it was coming from. In the last 2 months or more of appointments, he gave her medication for an urinary tract infection, scheduled her physical therapy for strengthening her legs and muscles because he said she was just 85 and loosing muscle tone. We requested a wheelchair, oxygen, bloodwork. Mother should have been admitted to the hospital for just her symptoms alone. When she fell to the floor twice from not having any strength, cold and sweating, sleeping most of her days, we admitted Mother to the hospital ourselves. Dr Lamy how did you miss terminal cancer through most of her organs?!?! Mother died trusting you Sir. We asked to talk with Dr Lamy at his office, he agreed and had our meeting set by his staff. Dr Lamy hid behind a 150. dollar charge to visit with our family. No condolences. Dr Lamy is not a Dr you should trust. Then they said they couldn't see me And I am already at the office they wanted to reschedule my visit because of their incompetence the receptionist was rude and dismissive.
