Chicken and a waffles

The waffle was good but I wasn't feeling the chicken. I m picky about my chicken and I don't eat seafood menu mostly seafood. Service was fast and welcoming. I called in my order it was hot and ready when I pulled up.

This food truck is a hidden gem in Baton Rouge. My experience was nothing but positive from the extremely nice owner and the delicious food. I've only tried the salmon tacos, which I highly recommend anyone to try. They have a few different options every week, so you can always try something new. I can't wait to try their catfish or alfredo pasta next time I'm in the area.

Chicagoan ran food truck out here in these streets. Small little truck that you might miss if you aren't careful. The people are really nice and they have a pretty good selection of soul food type items. We went with wings and waffles and a catfish on bun sandwich. The honey barbecue wings were super tasty but pretty small. The sandwich was really good too. Overall the place was pretty good. It's a bit pricey for what you get. $7.50 for a sandwich is a bit high with no fries or a drink.

Street burger!!!! Probably one of the best burgers I've had!

Delicious, fresh and hot!! Everything we tried was amazing..the fries! The burger! The shrimp! The fish!! Everything!! Perfectly seasoned and yummy! The call ahead feature is a bonus that cuts down on the wait time!

Y'all....I didn't get out of the parking lot before I started going in on this deliciousness. But first! I pulled up to a bright yellow food truck outlined with lights...cute! I was greeted by a very bubbly co-owner (Kristen I believe) who promptly serviced my food. She had a mask on too, which is always comforting to see. As I pulled off and peeked on my food, the aroma of hot, well seasoned food had me stuffing my face within seconds lol! The fish was pippin hot, fresh, well cleaned and the batter was perfectly seasoned. The fries, a little limp but overall delicious. Idk what they seasoned it with but I need some haha. I didn't use hot sauce, ketchup or nothin, everything was seasoned just right. I'm very satisfied and will definitely be back to further explore the menu!

This was awesome. I'm embarrassed to admit I've never had blackened shrimp before, but this was terrific. Spicy but not overwhelming, shrimp cooked just right. Good creamy Alfredo sauce on the pasta. I would highly recommend it.

Great dinner tonight for the fam! We tried the salmon tacos and chicken wings with a waffle. Both were delicious. Customer service was wonderful from the phone call to order my food to pickup. Easy to find location on Jefferson highway not far from Parkview Baptist and Airline Highway/Siegen/Sherwood intersection. They are there most nights, so I highly recommend checking them out! I'll definitely be back to try some more deliciousness!

The carne asada taco was okay, too many onions for me, but still quite tasty. Some would probably be intimidated to eat here because it is a run-down food truck located next to a gas station near the Home Depot of Coursey & Cedarcrest. The service was friendly and fast. Eating there is not really recommended because there are just folding chairs, no tables. I would say the food was pretty authentic and I plan on going back, especially for those yummy pupusas. This might not be your first choice, but at least make it a choice; step out of your box and try something new!

Everyone has heard about my deep rooted love and obsession for tacos and food stands, so I wanted everyone else in Baton Rouge to find out about this gem of a shady but delicious food truck! The meat is charred crispy to perfection, without being dry. The doubled-up HANDMADE a corn tortillas are definitely the best tortillas I have ever tasted. (Hmm, wonder if I can get a whole pack to go?!) The pupusas are delicious too, and come topped with a pickled cabbage. My friend did order the pork tacos, thinking it was carnitas, but it was actually chicharrones (pork rind) and we didn't like that one so much. I TOLD her to let me order for her in Spanish, but she insisted on the pork before I had the chance to people rly ask WHAT type of pork...... And yes, it's best to order in Spanish. Just say "taco de carne asada" (beef steak) and "taco de pollo" (chicken) and how may and you should be set. I usually order 3. They are small but very filling. I could literally eat these everyday. There are 2-3 chairs to sit out at while waiting for your order, and the wait time is 4-8mins or so depending on how much you order but it's so worth it. They even give salsa to go. Ladies, please wear your wedding rings (or a fake one while you order) because there will most likely have a plethora of men ordering authentic Mexican food, waiting to propose to any unsuspecting lady who just wants to get her foodporn on and immediately dash to the comfort of their own home to indulge in these tasty treats. It is parked at the gas station near the Home Depot on Cedarcrest & Coursey. Coming from bluebonnet (with the CCs coffee house on your left) you will cross over working onto Coursey, and it's the second gas station on the right. If you're in the Home Depot parking lot, the gas station is directly in front of the store.

After walking past them a few times, I got a real hankering for some BBQ. I do not give out a 5/5 score very often but this food truck earned it. Suffice to say, I could not have left more satisfied. I ordered a Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich, which was a delicious mix of coleslaw and juicy pulled pork. I am not sure how they cooked it, but this was easily among the most delectable pulled pork I have ever had (and I just spent a night in Memphis not long ago)! The meat is so cooked to perfection that they leave it without any BBQ sauce (just fine this way). However, they have three BBQ sauces that you can add to suit your own personal taste. These sauces range from sweet to spicy and were most impressive. Also if I am not mistaken, these sauces are homemade from scratch! They have a number of different meals to choose from and some side orders to go along. I plan to try many of their other items from the menu. If your ever downtown and happen to come across this food truck....drop everything your doing and treat yourself to a fine meal!

The school also brought pizzas, but no doubt the line for the pig was long. They were super fast though, and the service was smooth and courteous. Compared to other BBQ pork meals I've had elsewhere, this food truck is not a joke as it definitely competes and could likely win. The nachos were loaded with delicious meat, green onions, nacho cheese, jalapeños, and BBQ sauce. I would have loved to have more meat on these, but they still seemed pretty standard. The pork sandwich was also delish, especially after I added the cole slaw side item and poured on BBQ sauce. Plenty of meat on the sandwich. I would have also loved to have tried the tacos, quesadillas, and the wrap. Finger-lickin' good, y'all!!! The only downfall is I'm not sure how to stalk their food truck to get more - boohoo!!! So if you see them around town, send me a message please and definitely get some yourself!

What made this special is that it's cooked to order bringing back wonderful memories of trips to the Philippines. Now the garlic rice was the superstar here, definitely one of my favorite dish's with perfect texture from the rice, and plenty of garlic yet not over powering in eat this with every meal. Can't wait to try other menu items. The owners are awesome, and you can see the love they put into their cooking. If you haven't tried Filipino cuisine and in the area this is your food truck.

Upon entering the lot you will notice a few different food trucks/trailers, this particular spot was right in the center and had a convenient covered patio equipped with fans should you decide to stay and "dine in" while conversing with the very friendly owners. The owners are the ones cooking and serving you, I had a plethora of questions which they were more than happy answering. I ended up ordering the Pancit, Lumpia, Pork Sinigang, Pork Belly Inihaw, Pork BBQ, and Halo Halo which was soo good and refreshing that I forgot to take a picture! Their hours are very limited but I highly recommend giving them a try if you want to try some delicious filipino food! Their hours: Sunday: 11:00AM-2PM Monday-Tuesday: Closed Wednesday-Friday: 3:30PM-7:00PM Saturday: 11:00am-6:00PM *Note, There are specials written on a board by the front entrance that may differ from the board and you can also DoorDash order from them. I decided to write a review on Yelp because I believe out of all the filipino restaurants or bars that served pinoy cuisine this easily ranks in my top 3 but there was little information on other websites.
