We went on a Wednesday night. The place had maybe 4 other parties inside so not busy at all. Our waitress was nice. She brought out food out rather quickly. The drinks are really good. I had originally wanted the birria tacos that were on the menu but she stated they did not have them available so I went with the carne asada tacos with rice but she brought out beans. She quickly replaced the beans with rice with no issue. The meat in my tacos were pretty dry but the rice was freshly made and hot. read more

Ate here for lunch today. Same generic Mexican food you'll find anywhere else. Ordered a burrito deluxe which came with a small side of lettuce and tomato. Even though I ordered it without sour cream, it was delivered to the table by another employee and had sour cream on it, so I had to send it back. Later they told me they would bring me more salsa, and after 15 minutes, it still hadn't arrived, so I reiterated my request. For the Mexican lovers, this place is really good. Not got the ambience and decor of Chuy's but the food and service are great. They have an excess of employees and they all pitch in. Never have to wait for your server that disappears to get service. Plates are huge and I always get the "Burrito Grande". More than a grown man can eat. Endless chips and salsa and the salsa is wonderful. This is a small place with only one store. Not a huge chain. But out of the way at I-75 at the Monroe exit. Food was solid, prices were competitive/fair, and service was good. I got the vegetarian lunch fajitas with a scoop of guac added. Total price with the added guac was $11.49. Chips and salsa are good, I have no complaints. Good fairly priced authentic Mexican food. Was in town for a convention and we were exhausted craving good Mexican food. This place was highly reviewed. The menu was a little confusing, they state on it they have soft corn tortillas and flour tortillas. We placed a to go order but did it from inside the restaurant. When we asked for corn he said "they are crunchy hard corn." I then asked about the soft corn on the menu, he again said they were hard. So I asked for flour, since I don't like hard shell tacos and was looking for something more authentic like soft corn but I settled on the flour tortillas. We got our order, went back to the house and it smelled great. I opened my container and they gave me the hard corn tortillas, that's fine wasn't going to complain, the food smelled amazing and they got my husband and our best friends order right. The issue that happens with hard shell is they fall apart and if I could give any advice to this place it would be to keep the tacos separate from the beans and rice because they disintegrated the second I picked them up, so I just ate them with the chips like nachos, disappointing but not the end of the world. While the food wasn't amazing and comes off as a watered down version of Mexican food and you can tell it's because they cater to locals, but being from Chicago and growing up with nothing but authentic Mexican it was to be expected it wouldn't be as good, it still wasn't bad by any means. Both my husband and best friend loved their food, they got the burrito and steak fajitas. In general the food was good, the service was great, the menu a little confusing, but next time we are in town we plan on giving them another shot, this time we will dine in. read more

I didn't even get to order food. Service is terrible. I ordered online and once I got inside I was met with a rude man saying the online orders don't work. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever gone to! My sangria margarita was delicious! I could drink four of those but I know better. I got the fajita quesadilla and my boyfriend got a plain quesadilla while our friends got a burrito and another chicken dish. My fajita quesadilla was fantastic! The food wasn't bad or the service. The problem was when I went to pay. I ordered the Enchilada Banderas. The menu showed $13 so I ordered it. When I got the check it was $15. I went to pay and brought it to their attention. They found the menu they gave me and it was $13. I was told that's the wrong menu and $15 is the correct price. I said it's your fault and I would not have ordered it at that price. He said I would have to call the manager and that he was just an employee. I told them nope, you keep those $2.00. The food was decent, around 3 stars. However the service was rude. When we ordered our lunches at 11:30am on a Friday we were charged dinner prices for them. The waiter Fernando made me feel like I was the only responsible for the mistake. I told him "It would have been nice if you asked for clarity between lunch and dinner when you took our order." He replied "people always want dinner sizes when they come in for lunch. Next time you need to clarify that when you order." Food was not as good as usual and was cold. We had to ask several times for to go boxes. When we first arrived they were not busy but it didn't stay that way. Service was lacking and we were rushed out. I ordered a $32 to go meal that came in just a paper bag. When i got home and started walking to my door the bottom of the bag gave out. I called and was told "were to busy to deal with this". I told him I know you were busy I'm just letting you know you got to put your stuff in plastic bags, they usually do and this was the first time we received our food simply in a paper bag.
