Vegan options as well as vegetarian options. One of the few Mexican restaurants where I can get vegetarian options. I now get those same items vegan by telling the server to remove the dairy (cheese and sour cream), and picking sauces which contain no dairy. This on my favorites list in Cheyenne. While the refried beans are cooked with lard, the black beans are vegetarian, as is the rice. It's rare to find a Mexican restaurant that does not have chicken stock in their rice. This is one of the few. I've eaten here for about since this location opened, and the other location since it opened about 3 years ago. While they serve breakfast, they don't open until 11 AM. The dinners I've had here are enjoyable. We really like their mushroom salsa. Yep, mushroom salsa. Their regular salsa is very good. If you want more intense ask for habanero sauce on the side. I appreciate their chip aren't too salty. There barely is salt on them. Too often tortilla chips are way over salted. The are also one of the few place which make Original Margaritas correctly: lime juice, Contreaun, Triple Sec, and Tequila, nothing else other than ice. They have other variation for those who like them, but finding a correctly made Original Margarita is about as rare as finding Mexican Rice without chicken stock. read more

Service was good. California burrito isn't a California burrito. Has rice, hardly any carne asada for 14 dollars, tortilla was not good and falling apart because the size is wrong, and it was not even grilled. Carne asada fries were definitely better. read more

Without a doubt, the BEST Mexican restaurant in Cheyenne! Very traditional Mexican menu with tons of flavor and generous portions in a very clean dining environment. The combo steak & shrimp fajita is outstanding! Even the chips and salsa are truly homemade and a delicious step above the usual Mexican restaurant fare. Service is absolutely terrible. Placed online order and they received the order and charged the card promptly. Pick up time was 9:36 pm - 30 minutes . I showed up at 9:41 and they had no clue there was an online order. The stewardess has the arrogance to tell me that I came too fast - haha - 40 minutes after I placed the order ! read more

Bland flavorless relleno with the thinnest chili I've had. Full of dough & smothered with barely anything so had to pay $2.50 extra per relleno for green chilli. Enchilada requested with carne asada no red sauce. Came with red sauce then returned. They just put carne on top. Sent back again. Finally but then no flavor. Not worth the calories to say the least. The molé is authentic and delicious. As are the fresh, homemade corn tortillas and the chips. The chicken enchiladas are great so are the arroz y refried beans. Great restaurant. Fantastic staff- worth the slight trip off of 25N exit 9. We did carry out and 10 min to our hotel and food was still hot. read more

Four stars regionally adjusted. This is the only Mexican food I have eaten in Wyoming that actually tastes like Mexican food. I had the chile verde and it was tasty. My wife had chile relleno and liked it. My chile verde had a french fry floating in it, which had been there long enough to be dissolving into the sauce. Having worked in restaurants before I had to keep myself from wondering how that got in there, and why it went undetected by kitchen staff.
