This review is based strictly on the Groupon I renewed for a MediPedi…read more I did so much research before ordering my Groupon and got terribly excited after watching YouTube videos and reading all about it. All of this to say I'm sadly disappointed in the pedi itself. The office and their associates are wonderful. Friendly and attentive, I had my questions answered and never felt like I was a hassle or a burden. Needless to say, the appointment was more educational than it was an actual MediPedi. Dr. Sha is very friendly and made me smile at first meet with a funny greeting. I was a little cranky since I hadn't eaten but he quickly lifted my spirits. The appointment: We sat and spoke for about 30 mins. I'm so informed and found things out about my feet that I'd never known. It's clear that Dr. Sha loves what he does. One thing I've noticed about the health industry is that they're quick to shove surgery and pills into you. This office doesn't stand on that. The goal is to avoid surgery and to avoid unnecessary means by actually figuring out the cause of the problem and fixing it as best as possible through all alternative avenues. I admire that. But on to the actual service. I'm not sure if it's the fact that it was paid for through Groupon or if this is just the standard here but not too much was done to make me feel a complete difference in my feet. The pedi part took all of about 10-15 mins. For $59, I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with what I got and I'm left wondering if the visit was worth it at all and whether a pedicure at a nail salon with some informational reading would've sufficed. My feet are just as ashy as they were when I walked in although they filed and scraped my problem areas down pretty nicely. All in all, the process was smooth, scheduling was a breeze, and besides the cost to service fulfillment, was of no inconvenience in anyway. Thanks anyway Lifestyle Podiatry.

They took a couple of months to be made and cost about 500 dollars. They didn't help. I went to another podiatrist in the neighborhood who gave me cotton stick on metatarsal pads at no additional cost. They have helped immensely. I wear them in all my shoes. Metarsalgia, I've come to understand is such a common problem. He should have been the first one to give me the cotton pads. I didn't need to be taken for a ride. Thinking of this, a few years later still makes me so upset. Go elsewhere. I'm assuming he got a cut of the profits from the orthotics company.

I then waited for an hour to be seen only for the receptionist to be extremely rude to me. I was eventually taken into one of the rooms only to wait another 45 minutes - I literally had to come out and check multiple times and each time the receptionist gave me attitude. The doctor saw me for 30 minutes and then sent me somewhere else to get tests done. When I called to make a follow up appointment the receptionist said the doctor would be out of the office for over two weeks, mind you I can't walk right now until he sees me again. Then a few days later I find an appointment with a different doctor in that office and book it. When I show up no one is there and they don't answer the phone for 20 minutes where I finally connect with someone she stella me that the doctor decided he wanted to leave early for the day and I could come back another time if I wanted.

Let me start by saying Dr. Stuto is very professional very friendly and very likable!…read more So why the one star!? This review is solely based on the unprofessional disrespectful front desk ladies! OK So let's talk about it! I came into the office on October 18th seen the doc everything went great. He put In a order for orthopedics. I told the front lady about it. She like great I'll give your insurance a call today meaning on the 18th but that didn't happen! Weeks go by my feet are hurting and my knees are starting to cave-in. I called the office November 5th One of the ladies take a message and said she'll leave a note and have her call me back When she arrives at 2 PM I didn't get that phone call! So I called my insurance to see if the order was put in. Nope! no order put in. so I called back the next day November6 now this receptionist said oh she only works on Friday! And she didn't leave a note! Okay! At this point I ask to speak to the doctor, told him It's going on 3 weeks now and I'm still waiting for The receptionist to just make a PHONE CALL!! he said he will handle it I finally get a phone call November 8th from the receptionist with so much aggression in her voice! Telling me she was sick for three weeks and that I'm not the only patient! Wow ok! So I asked her to put the doctor on the phone she put me on hold for about six minutes comes back and said he's busy then her tone changed it went from very hostile to apologetic to she's going to try to do the best she can then to shes sorry! At that point she knew she was out of line! She made the call 3 weeks later! On November 8th! How do I know.. my Insurance told me and it was approved the same day she made the call Fast forward to today! I am in the office on time as away a lady gets there after me but she goes before me I get up and I ask what's going on and tell her the time of my appointment she gives me a very vague and dismissive response I go and sit back down at this point I'm waiting for an hour now it happens again a guy that came after me was called she tries to play me like I'm stupid and say there are different doctors for different people but me and the guy are there to see the same doctor so how was he being called before me so I ask how many people are ahead of me because clearly I was here before everyone she turns her back to me and continue to do what she was doing I ask to speak to the doctor She waits about two minutes before she call his name out just three steps away from her in a different room he comes out and I explain to him what happened! Then she jumps in and tries to over talk me then she whispered to the doctor and told him I was rude to a lady on the phone but what she didn't know is all my phone calls are recorded! So not only are you a liar you're a disgusting disrespectful unprofessional worker! These front desk ladies are bad for business! They do not represent the doctor very well! Next step is HR! Learn how to talk to people!!!

I am still not even sure if it was a scam or not, but I paid it so that I wouldn't have it show on my credit. Better safe than sorry, I guess. Do NOT go to this facility.

Specifically, our toddler son got injured and we got an x-ray of his foot done prior to our visit. Dr. Tabari looked at the x-ray but was unable to identify that toe was broken so determined that he needed to take an x-ray of the OTHER foot to see if our son was just "born this way"... Upon seeing that of course the other foot did not have a broken toe, the Dr. recommended that we use ice and have our son wear a tennis shoe at home for a month -- sounds pretty good, thankfully we sought a second opinion. We were extremely fortunate to get an appointment at HSS where the great doctors there immediately diagnosed the broken toe by it's technical name and began the path to recovery that unfortunately included surgery. In addition, they did not need to expose our son to a second x-ray to confirm that a broken toe was, in fact, a broken toe - they just knew how to read x-rays and understand how feet work. I am sure the Dr. is good for some things, but would not use him for any serious issues requiring potential surgery or broken feet. In addition, this is the only doctor's practice I have ever been to that charged my credit card for a deductible a month later without the courtesy of a phone call or sending an invoice ahead of time... we all understand how deductibles work but this was very unprofessional. And I am sure the charge for the extra, unnecessary radiation is a part of this charge. Biggest lesson - get a second opinion.

This review is for Dr. Evans and his staff -…read more I visited Dr. Evans because I was limping around with foot/ heel pain for the past 3 months. I couldn't take it anymore and realized it was getting worse so I said screw it - time to go to the doctor. First off, the ladies in the front office area are such sweethearts, very pleasant and are welcoming. Dr. Evans is pleasant himself and actually had a soft but witty personality. So I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and a heel spur (greeaattt). He rendered his plan of action, told me to come back in 2 weeks and sent me home with "at-home" things to follow. 2 weeks later the pain was a little lessened and sporadic instead of everyday. I was honest that I didn't follow his at-home regimen the way I should have and he gave me the suggestion/ option to get a cortisone shot. I agreed to move forward if it was going to help me....3 minutes later he was back in the office prepping me for the shot in my heel. I took a deep breath, and although he was trying his best to be gentle - that thing HURT LIKE HELL!!! 2 days later - I was able to walk normally again, hop out of bed in the morning, run up and down the steps and dancing like Ginger Rogers :-) !!! So I returned 2 more weeks after that and still have not suffered the debilitating pain and really hope it doesn't return!! If it does - of course I will be more than happy to see Dr. Evans and his team again.

Two part review: one part for Dr. Evans himself and one for the office staff…read more Office Staff: One of the front desk staff is nice, the rest are queens of curtness and incompetence. One might think that helping others is a precondition to working in the health field, but not these ladies. For example, I can forgive the office manager her perpetually sour expression and maybe even her harsh way of speaking to patients. Harder to swallow is that she doesn't know how to handle billing. She tells you your insurance doesn't cover something, then you call your company and find out it does in fact cover the treatment but that the office submitted the wrong diagnostic code. You call the office manager back to give her the correct code and she acts defensive. Ultimately you have to call the doctor in and he quickly sorts everything out. She has a talent for making everything unpleasant and take longer then it needs to. I won't be going back as long as she works there. Dr. Evans: An affable if somewhat distracted guy. He glides in and out of the exam room pretty quickly so have your questions ready. Four stars for him if not for the train wreck of an office manager.
