Let me start with saying I'm very picky with where I shop and where I spend my money. When I shop,…read moreno matter what it's for, I try to keep it pretty local. With that being said, this is definitely one of my favorite locally owned boutiques! 100% you're always going to find quality brands, great prices, and the sweetest girls to assist you in your shopping. Not even to mention that they have a $10 rack where they put out various pieces! I got the cutest romper off this rack the other day for summer! Since they've moved to their new location on Broadway, the store is so spacious and easy to shop! I was in love! The store carries curvy sizes, tween sizes, xs-xl sizes, reasonably priced jewelry and accessories, and even unique pieces for the home too! Definitely not a shop you want to pass up!

Encore primarily sells clothing for the whole family (babies to adults), but they also have shoes, jewelry, housewares, home decor and a small amount of toys. We were greeted by the very nice woman working who told us about what was on sale. We were the only customers in the store which was great given that we're still dealing with COVID. Lots of the summer merchandise had been marked down and there was still a nice variety. I spent around $35 on several items that were on sale or very reasonably priced. A summer dress and casual top (both 75% off), men's dress shirt for my husband, and a couple of things that will be saved for Christmas. Had we paid original retail prices the total would have been twice or 3x's as much. I found their non-sale prices to be fair, it just so happened that most of what we purchased was marked down. The shop is well curated and a great place to check out if you have kids to shop for, yourself, maybe a gift for a friend. They had lots of nice, like-new (and new) jewelry, purses, wallets and ties that would make nice gifts. Even a Kentucky fan section at the front of the store for all your Wildcat needs. :-) Highly recommend.

Upon entering the store we were welcomed and told about the current sales. I believe this may have been the owner working. Displays were nicely done. Second Time Around seems to sell primarily clothing S-3XL sizes, shoes, handbags, accessories, but there was a room in the back of the store that had furniture and nice higher-end home decor. Would love see an expanded menswear section. I found the prices to be reasonable. We weren't looking for anything in particular and I was lucky to score an upscale branded blouse for only $3! Store is easy to shop and not overly crammed with merchandise, which I appreciate. They've got some cute fall sweaters for sale right now. Masks required. Recommend!

But today, I felt an employee was lurking, watching me look through the racks and I was uncomfortable. A piece of clothing had fallen to the floor near me, that I don't think I dislodged. The employee came right up near me, and hung it back up. I apologized despite not being sure I had done it. They said nothing back me, just gave me a dirty look. At that point I put back the shirt I was planning to pay cash for, and walked away. I glanced over my shoulder and they had already snatched up the shirt and moved it back to what I guess was a better spot. I just smiled as the person glared. Needless to say I won't be back for a loooong time if ever. Who treats their repeat cash paying customers this way? Three stars is generous, it's for the merchandise selection only.
