This antique mall is set-up very nicely (don't forget to go upstairs!) and I found it much easier to walk through than some of the other antique stores we've visited this week. The vendors in this mall seem to maintain their booth spaces on a more regular basis, which is nice. My S.O. always had his eye on vintage cameras and there were a lot of them here. Karen (who's a doll, by the way) was the only employee working at the time and was pretty busy wheeling and dealing for the customers. Apparently you can make offers on items here as well and staff can call the seller(s) for you. I left with a NWT (new with tags) fanny pack for my cousin (she collects them) for less than $4 and a couple of plants from a cute booth that someone had. Had this seller offered more plants, I probably would have bought her out. We were in here for about an hour and spent around $12. Masks are required and there's a big bottle of hand sanitizer available when you walk it. By far our favorite antique store on Broadway in downtown Paducah. Recommend.

With that being said, this is definitely one of my favorite locally owned boutiques! 100% you're always going to find quality brands, great prices, and the sweetest girls to assist you in your shopping. Not even to mention that they have a $10 rack where they put out various pieces! I got the cutest romper off this rack the other day for summer! Since they've moved to their new location on Broadway, the store is so spacious and easy to shop! I was in love! The owner, Priska, is the heartbeat of this wonderful vintage/antique store. Priska is so friendly and knowledgeable. What an impressive selection of items! I've been to many antique shops, but the Victorian Parlor has more variety and "good stuff" than anywhere I've ever been in the U. S. One could get lost for hours in this store. It's a glorious trip back in time! The Victorian Parlor is located in lovely quaint downtown Paducah. The store was once a Western Union office. The flooring and walls bear evidence of this! I would happily return to Paducah and The Victorian Parlor anytime. And hope I get a chance to do that soon! You should go!

She said she had "lots" at home and asked if we lived in the area. We said no, but would be passing through again in a few weeks. She promised to bring in 40 quilts if we would call ahead, which we did. Made an appointment for noon on Monday and scheduled our return trip from Gainesville FL so that we would be on time. Arrived promptly at noon and were back on the road by 10 after. She had not had time to bring in the quilts! An hour detour for nothing. Won't go back....and to those hordes of shoppers they are expecting from the Paducah Quilt Show, don't get your hopes up folks! The few low quality quilts that are there are salted with imported quilts!!
