Fortunately, the repair guy was in and overhead my conversation and steered me clear of the foot that I was thinking of getting due to a flaw in the design causing problems. Anyway, I decided to sit at one of the chairs in the area to get a better look at one of the sewing tables that I don't have room for in my studio. Wait, chair? What is this comfort that I am missing at home? This chair has lumbar support, the seat tilts forward and back also up and down, the back goes higher and lower...everything that I have been looking for in a chair. It's made by the same company that makes the sewing tables, so it's gone through the vetting process for comfort for the home sewer. I looked at the price and gasped. Seriously? But the longer I sat, I decided that I was worth the money. On a weekend, I can be in the chair for 8 hours (getting up to let the dogs out, you know how that is) over the whole weekend.
