He quoted me a max price for the job- which by the way was way less by 60 percent of the initial quote. This is a great surprise for me as a single mother who doesn't plan for repairs (I know it's terrible and I should). The plumber Justin was good with communicating his arrival time and was friendly the entire time he was there. I can be a talker and he didn't seem annoyed at all lol. Fantastic Not only did they spare my white recently remodeled bathroom and not drag the electric snake into the house, they didn't take out the toilets and ran it through the roof (the hole in the pipe was tried first but no luck). They got the clog out, patched the hole and came back the next day. I always had water and sewer. And they even checked to make sure my kitchen was good. He took credit card. Very friendly and professional. And according to the neighbors, I got off CHEAP. So call these guys. They're fantastic. He told my parents the only solution was to shut off the water to the entire house from the outside. He didn't even ask to look at the water heater inside of the house. ​My parents then got incontact with a family friend who is a plumber for his opinion. He knew exactly what was wrong just by looking at a photo. He fixed it in 20 minutes the next morning and pointed out that we didn't even need to shut the water off outside--there was an interior valve by the water heater the first guy completely missed. ​Roto-Rooter wasted our time and left my parents without water unnecessarily. They need to hire more qualified technicians who know what they are doing.

They turned something on and off and I had hot water and then lost it again. I found that odd. They went into my attic, but said nothing about the set up there. After spending about 30 minutes in their van "talking to the supervisor", they came back with "you need to replace the unit". Cost of $6800.00. I said no thank you. I called another company who came out the next day and determined the issue was related to the venting. They came back the next day and fixed the issue (but before leaving the first time, had a temporary fix so that I would have hot water). All of this for $500.00. I will never recommend Bud's to anyone.
