Later, I found a few areas I wasn't completely satisfied with, so I called Mike and he was more than happy to come out and do more! He is very knowledgeable and with a reasonable approach to tackling challenges. The reason I did not give 5 stars was because when I was initialing reaching out for diagnosis of a poorly tree, I was told over several days-weeks that I would be contacted (the Arborist sets his own schedule), that there was a backlog. I accepted this, but later learned that the person was actually on scheduled time away. I just wish I would have been told this from the start as opposed to repeatedly saying he was backlogged. He quoted me for a tree…read morethat fell on my house and promised extra steps for no additional charge to help cover and secure the holes in my roof only to come the next day after I signed his contract and say he didnt tell me he was going to do any of it and didnt do any of it.He quoted me a price to remove EVERYTHING in my yard that was part of the tree and then came out the next day and told me he couldn't remove the tree stump (which was huge) and was planning on leaving it there unless i agreed to pay an additional 1200 dollars. He told me we addressed the stump issue the day prior, which was another lie. He yelled at me in front of his entire crew when I called him out on his lies and got right in my face at my doorstep. I yelled back and he got upset and stormed off and left for the remainder of the job. Then sent his project manager out to smooth everything over with me a week and a half later because he couldnt be the professional he should be as a business owner. His crew did great work, but as the owner of a business, you shouldn't be treating your customers that way. It didnt matter to him though because i was obligated to pay either way. I will never use browns tree service again and do not recommend you do either. Avoid the headache!

I felt that for all he did and what I was charged was affordable and reasonable. People that complain about the cost of services really do not understand the amount of work involved in lawn care. Hired them to build a chicken coop. Provided professionally designed plans, that we have used…read morebefore, for this build. Coop has not been built correctly, and things were done poorly. We also caught their employees drinking while working on our property and had to tell the owner to stop speeding down our driveway, despite them being away that we have kids and animals who are outside at times. Workers came and went, would show up as late as 6pm to work on our project, with no heads up. When I brought up my concerns to the owner, she quit. And then decided it was appropriate to come to my property at 10pm to get their tools and demand payment for the work they had done. While I understand they are primarily a mowing company, they reached out to bid my project and assured me they were experienced in building small projects like mine. Absolutely do not recommend. Completely unprofessional and take on jobs that are clearly outside their scope of expertise.
