They even loved the assessment the very first day, which to me looked like a test! The teachers and director do an amazing job making math fun. My kids love the motivational incentives they can earn, and really work hard for the incentives. There's nothing rote or boring about the way Mathnasium teaches math. After months of poor tutoring from the center, my score did not go up. You may think I am sour grapes because my score did not initially go up - this is where you are wrong. I started self-studying and doing my own plan and my score skyrocketed up. The prices are absurd. Half the time is spent taking practice tests where the tutors sit on their phones and play solitaire. Doesn't sound like a bad gig to me. I would strongly advise attending Huntington "Learning" Center for one reason only - you do not learn.
