Daniel had a great rapport with him and helped him develop his skills with patience and kindness. He tailored the book selections to my son's reading level so he could gain confidence and overcome his resistance to reading. With my 6 yo son, he worked on his executive functioning skills. The teachers at school reported that my younger son had difficulty following directions and staying on task. Daniel researched various techniques and helped my son work on these skills. He really listened to the specific concerns I had with my sons and tailored their tutoring program to address those specific needs. He worked with my kids in person initially and then remoteIy due to the pandemic. My kids benefited just as much with him teaching remotely. I recommend him without reservation.

My two kids have been attending Huntington Learning Center in Lincoln Park for last 3 months and…read morethe team there has been very thorough and professional. They took the time to evaluate our children, establish a baseline and explain to us their recommendation and a way forward. I really like the data driven approach to identifying areas of need. I was most impressed with the Director giving us a clear plan with timelines, costs and end dates. What I liked the most about her is the clear, honest and pragmatic manner in which they articulated the options and solutions without any sales pitch. We would recommend Huntington Learning Center in Lincoln Park to other parents to help their kids in areas of need.

My son benefited from the individual attention in the study skills program from the teachers who really challenged him to become an independent learner. His study habits improved so much, that homework is no longer a chore and I am not struggling with him to get started. My daughter has displayed learning difficulties in a number of content areas, with math being the subject she had the most trouble with. After about 6 weeks in the program she earned her first B in math on her midterm progress report! I can't express how happy we are with this center and the teachers! She was recently diagnosed with ADHD, and she is gaining skills that she can use both at home and in the classroom that help her to focus.

I am pleased to state that I have received excellent results with Mr. Glenn and ACT Prep Chicago…read more I first came to ACT Prep with my son in 2013 when he was preparing for his ACTs during his junior year. Since my son was a student at one of the top selective enrollment high schools in Chicago, he felt that he did not need additional preparation. However, Mr. Glenn was able to form an instant connection with my son, and soon discovered some deficient areas. Ultimately, my son improved his scores from a 22 on the practice exams to a 28 on the national exam. He even scored a 35 on the English section. Needless to say, my son was able to secure admission to all of his desired universities, and all of the schools offered him scholarships. Based on those successes, I enrolled my daughter after her freshmen year of high school so she could get a jump on preparation, as she is not the same type of student and needs extra help. So far, she has increased her score three points over the practice exams (which are old national tests). She will begin her third and final cycle in January 2018 for the national test in June 2018. Further points of consideration: Cost: I don't think you will find any place more reasonable. Directions: Easily accessible from the Dan Ryan and I-57. I suggest taking 87th street to Racine and then going north for a more pleasant driving experience. Parking: There is ample street parking, but parents usually drop off/pick up. Class size: The main feature of this prep site is the very small classes. I believe there were 7-10 in the last cycle. The kids are able to get personalized attention . Bring a sweater, water, and a snack.

He designed a preparation strategy, taught me the methods and strategies for the test, and reviewed diagnostic exams with me. I came into the process with a goal of scoring at least a 700. My first practice test score was a 650, and my score on the exam was a 750. I only sat for the exam once, and relieved to not have to worry about it again. Working with John was invaluable. The area in which I needed the most improvement was the quantitative section, and he clearly explained the concepts and applications of them for the GMAT. I would recommend working with John for anybody who wants to achieve their potential on the GMAT. His personalized study plan ensured that I was spending my time studying as efficiently as possible, which is important because of how much I travel for work.

They may be the cheapest driving school around, but it's cheap for a reason. The driving instructor, Jacek constantly interupts class time to take phone calls and to talk to potential new clients who come in. He often lets class out early, so your teen won't even get the number of classroom or driving hours required by law. When it comes to driving time Jacek has the kids drive him to McDonald's so he can get coffee and use the bathroom. Most of the "instruction" is Jacek yelling at the kids, rather than telling them how to do things properly. In my opinion, you're better off paying more elsewhere.

My trainer was helena , she will ask you to drive and and just make drive constantly on a straight road , she won't discuss about rules or anything, keeps on either talking over phone or just saying if u do like this you will fail but she never rectifies error. I remember when I went for driving test that day I just asked to take me somewhere with the car (I was paying for the whole day ) But my trainer told me walk and so a lot of my time was wasted and I could not appear for the road test. And then also her response was just give me the check I need to go. I took class from other driving school and just after first he took me for road test and I cleared the same. I do not recommend taking class from them.
