During COVID, my son's high school shut down their Driver's Ed program. When I asked for references around the neighborhood, everyone kept recommending Galaxy. So, I called and was treated very well by their receptionist who advised that I could look at the upcoming class sessions online, choose one and register my son. It was quite easy. I took my son to their facility and was impressed with the cleanliness, friendly lobby area, and good-sized classroom with an individual seat and desk for each student. A gentleman named Andy teaches the classes. He seems to have a good repoire with students and teaching voice is loud and clear very easy to understand. When it came to driving lessons on the road, my son had Andy as instructor again. A few times when I was unavailable to bring my son, he drove over to our house in the Instructional Car, so my son could still take his lesson. I was very impressed that they would do that, as my home is about 15 minutes from Galaxy. Their instructional cars are nice, new Toyota Corrolla Hybrids. Great idea to have a kid learn on a hybrid so they get a little bit exposed to both gas engine technology and electric vehicle technology at the same time. After my son completed his classroom and on-road instruction he had to wait 9 months to get his license. After about 7 months, Galaxy called to advise me that he could take the state driving exam at the Secretary of State building or take it at Galaxy, since they are certified to give that test. We were very happy to avoid the lines and wait times at the SOS. Even if I were to find a cheaper school, I would still take my child here and it just so happens that I will be back in a year when my daughter turns 15. read more

I am so happy to have gone here!! Please when you call the school re route yourself to Andy!! ANDY!! He's the instructor you want. He's patient, kind and very knowledgeable. I was so scared to go on the highway due to the proximity of cars merging as well as trucks but he helped me drive successfully in and out of one. His conversation is soothing as he makes you feel at ease and at no time does he drop the ball. If you feel like you would ever be in a sticky situation while driving he rapidly reacts to the circumstance and gets you and him out of any possible accidents that would be caused by you. Andy is awesome and very punctual! He's also very respectful. He always kept his hands to himself and never said anything inappropriate. For those who are female students, you won't need to worry about him. He's a straightforward guy. I recommend him 10 fold. He helped me get my license! I took the 10 hour course with him and he taught me what to do and what not to do while driving. He also showed me the route of the driving test and when I took the actual test I passed it with flying colors. Don't go to another driving school, they will overcharge you. Andy's rates are very reasonable. I recommend him. I took the driving test about a day or so after I finished my program with him and passed on my first try. Andy is the best! read more

I went to Galaxy driving school 5 years after my first lessons in 2017 with another driving school and with 3.5 previous lessons earlier this year with another driving lesson outlet. Didn't think I was ready and thought it would take a while to achieve getting my license after choosing my backup and (very affordable I may add ) option, Galaxy Driving School. But After one lesson with Andy ,my confidence grew. His laid back personality , amazing inner circle and experience with people, and his when needed necessary strictness, did what I thought was impossible. After only 5 lessons with Andy I got my drivers license. I recommend not just Andy but Galaxy Driving to anyone from teens to older (or as he would say grandmas and grandpas haha). Andy is an incredible instructor! After many years of not driving due to driving anxiety, I was finally able to drive because of Andy. He is very patient, kind, and explains everything in detail. Andy is extremely unprofessional and rude. He became fixated on a negative Google review he thought I had written. I explained several times that I had not written this review. He threatened that he was working with Google to identify the individuals writing negative reviews about his business. He then questioned my son about it (a minor).
