Bit weird I know and it's not like I can just fly over there for food... (unfortunately!) When I was living in Switzerland this place was an all time favourite. I've had a lot of Mexican throughout my life time (yet to go to Mexico...) and this place by far has the best Mexican I've tasted to date. Hands down. I literally lived out of this restaurant whenever we were on a ski holiday... helped it was right next/ in the hotel we were staying. The food is great - always of a high standard no matter when you go and the staff are really helpful and friendly. It's an intimate restaurant and parts had fairly dim lighting (from when I was last there and that was a while ago) but it made for a nice atmosphere especially when the weather is incredibly cold outside. They welcome kids and go above and beyond their expected call of duty by offering colouring books, pencils etc. They're really just so lovely. Arosa is very well known for its "children friendly slopes." There are a lot of families that go there over Winter break/ during ski season. They have a very well organised skischule for all levels (even adults). The instructors are really nice and not necessarily from Switzerland but they speak fluent Haute Deutsch as often English as well. It's a great place to go skiing. Arosa is smaller than some with most slopes being of average difficulty but the atmosphere is lovely. There are quite a few nice restaurants around for such a small town. It's also easy to access if you don't have a car - you can get to Arosa by train and then either walk around or catch the free shuttle bus (if you've got a ski pass, otherwise I think you have to pay). If you're heading to Arosa to hit up the slopes, make sure you pop into the Cuculouche for dinner one time!!! It won't disappoint :) !

This is simultaneously the best and worst Latin food I have ever had. Let's start with the worst,…read morewhich will somehow explain the best. First of all the food tastes terrible. I ordered enchiladas. What I received were taquitos. I don't even think taquitos are on the menu. They were o.k., for taquitos! Terrible for enchiladas. It came with faux spanish rice, which was edible, chili and a salad, which was smothered in a bland cream dressing making it inedible. I ordered quesadillas for my daughter. That dish looked oh so promising until I took a bite. I have never had a quesadilla made with SWISS CHEESE! Terrible. They could have used any other milder cheese, even cheddar! My in-laws had club sandwiches, which were good, but again loaded with swiss cheese. I would rather eat taco bell's "Latin" food. Here is why it is the best, there is nowhere else in the area (that I know of) that is even attempting to making "Latin" food so if you want something similar and don't want to make it yourself, those enchilada taquitos will hit the spot. The waitress spoke English. Took our order promptly, brought out our food, and then only came back to bring the check (to which she hovered over me until I pulled out the money to pay it right when she handed it to me).

I spent 6 years of my life in Konstanz as a University student and I remember how every time I went there, I thought, I wish they were a little cheaper. The quality of their food was always very good. Even though you cannot really compare the food to the Mexixan styled food you would eat in the States. However they offer a good alternative for their standards. I always liked the atmosphere of this restaurant and would definitely go there again next time I go visit Konstanz.

It's called a Mexican restaurant, but alas, it is not. Because we're nowhere close to Mexico! What…read moredo you expect, they don't use the same flavors or spices or whatever Mexican people use to make their perfect enchiladas, quesadilas, tacos, because they don't have them! But hey, at least they're trying. I shouldn't even talk because I know more about Tex-Mex than Mexican. Anyway, we tried their Macho Macho Nachos. The tortilla chips were covered in beans, some salsa and a heaping helping of cheese, and they had been sitting there a while. So long that all the chips had kinda turned into a big tortilla blob. It was all very greasy from the cheese. So, it's not your typical Mexican restaurant, but it's cool that they're actually educating people on what quesadilas and fajitas are! I'd give them 3 stars, because I'm not actually expecting authentic Mexican food in Switzerland and I didn't try anything else, but the wait was ridiculously long. And it shouldn't take that long to throw some chips, salsa, and cheese on a plate. Es ist eines interesantes Restaurant. Ich weiss, dass mexikanische Essen und Kaese ist teuer, weil sie weit sind. Aber, das Essen war nicht gut, und wir hatten zu viele Zeit zu warten.

The selection on the menu is big, and my girlfriend loved the nachos. Of course, she's never had nachos before. I found them too soggy, and the tortilla chips didn't have much flavor. She enjoyed her Caesar salad, but I found my enchilada supremely underwhelming. Now, perhaps this is more of a place for going out drinking. I really don't know. Probably not great for beer, as a bottle of Bud costs 6.50 here. And they don't even have the decent local beers. The service we got was similarly eh. All the waiters reek of smoke since they seem to be outside smoking more often than they're inside working. I would give this place 2.5 stars, I guess, if I could... it's not horrible, but I wouldn't be back again. Oh well, I guess the joke's on me -- I went to a TexMex restaurant in Switzerland.

Well, not one to ignore a new dish to try, I checked every restaurant in the area and decided the best ones would be here (or so I'd hoped). As a singleton, I got seated with a table that included a couple from Swabian area and a local gent that spends half his year in Spain. It was nice to have people to chat with and they were very patient with my German (as most Germans are). I ordered the Wiener schnitzel and an Augustin Dunkel to start. The beer was very good and the massive fresh schnitzel was equally so. I wasn't sure I'd have room for dessert, but as I was on a mission that I could not fail... I ordered the small potion of Kaiserschmarrn. It was still quite generous and it's times like these another dining partner would be helpful. They were little fluffy pillows of pancake, lightly dusted with powdered sugar with plump raisins in and around each pillow. There was a small dessert glad of homemade applesauce that was so thick. It reminded me of a good apple butter. There were also some pecans livers on the plate and in the applesauce.. I was very full and happily satisfied by the end of the meal. Service was excellent and swift. This is definitely one of the more traditional restaurants that you'll find here in the area and I highly recommend a meal here or at least, dessert.
