We often have this problem with food in North America but this is the first time we've experienced it in a European restaurant, which is probably indicative of some pesticide or other impurity in the food. We were so happy we sat at the bar to dine because we were able to talk with Charlotte who made some great recommendations for food and cocktails made with gin from the brasserie's extensive list.
