I recently dined at this restaurant during my trip in South Germany, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I was initially seated at a two-person table despite traveling alone. However, the situation took a turn when a local family with a toddler arrived. I was asked to move to a less desirable table by a member of staff ( I avoid mentioning individual identity) who seemed somewhat discriminatory throughout my visit. I agreed to the move, understanding that families may have specific needs, although I didn't expect to be charged for my initial drink which the family wanted to pay for.
I declined the family's offer to pay for my drink, as I believe it's the restaurant's responsibility to manage seating arrangements professionally. The ensuing argument with the staff, who not only unprofessionally argued with me but also took out €6 in cash during the dispute, left me feeling humiliated.
To make matters worse, the staff scolded a new employee in German in front of me, which I couldn't understand. When I inquired about the situation, I was told it was a training moment for the new staff. Throughout the meal, I found that every time I tried to signal for service, the staff responded impatiently with "one moment," which became quite frustrating.
