My most recent garden problem was finding a nicely shredded mulch that didn't leave behind big chunks at the end of each growing season. Lavocat's to the rescue! They have a wonderful hardwood fine-shredded mulch that's just perfect. If you're like me, and have a smaller garden - bagged mulch is what we need - whole truck loads just don't work. We had our photos done and my father went over near the fire pit and struck up a conversation again with Anthony and from the little he told me he's incredibly knowledgeable about Christmas trees! He also has a great sense of humor joking about how he convinced my dad to get his photo taken- appreciate that Anthony! Although we didn't purchase a live tree this year, I would not hesitate to come back to Anthony's when I'm in the market for one and I highly recommend. Easy to find with flags marking the driveway, large area for parking, friendly staff, sleds for you to pull your tree after you choose the perfect one and the staff will prep and pack your tree. There was some sort of shaking device I assume helps clean up the needles before you take it home. They also had beautiful wreaths and a fire pit!

She was "fiddling" with things around the counter while talking about friends on Facebook with the person on the phone. My husband, who had been been standing there for several minutes at this point asked if she could cash him out. She briskly stated "excuse me sir I'm on the phone with a customer ". and went on with the phone conversation. My husband left the chemicals on the counter and went to Tops and bought them. They were probably cheaper there anyway. Needless to say he won't go there any more

We turned to this company when the other service we used to open our pool didn't return calls…read more They're nice in the store but didn't seem very interested in fixing the problems we had nor were they interested in teaching us how to maintain our pool (using the pump, vacuum, etc.). Once when they came over I pointed out a crack in a hose and said I wanted to have that fixed. The guy said "we'll do it next year". What? That was in July. The hose is now completely broken and I don't want the pool to be closed with a broken hose. Then when my husband called to schedule the pool closing they told him they "always close that pool on XXX". Huh? That was when the former owners closed the pool. Hello? They don't live here. So then I stayed home the entire day they were supposed to come and they never knocked nor rang the bell but somehow there was a note on the front door telling me they couldn't access the pool to perform the service. Do NOT use these people unless you want serious aggravation.

Once again, at 6:30 a.m.- Brian immediately returned my call/text- assessed the situation via texted photo, arrived on site (same day) with the right team, the right equipment and took care of it. As this is the second time I have hired 5 Star Tree Services it is particularly worthy of also noting that Brian is very well experienced, knowledgeable and skilled with his array of equipment in addition to paying very close attention to the cosmetic appearance of any work he does whether it be a removal, trimming or an emergency response. I'd also add that with so many services around, Brian is keenly aware as a business owner, the importance of quality of work and customer satisfaction both of which he is exceptional at-to include being just one heck of a nice guy to boot!!! Highly recommended.
