Jurek Christmas Tree Farm

Why in heaven's name hasn't anyone reviewed this majestic place in 2017??? Jurek's is a local mecca…read morefor Christmas trees, holiday wreaths, and living out your very own personal Hallmark channel Christmas movie experience -- surrounded by endless trees, and cheerful folk in the Christmas spirit. It was a cold and blustery day when we got our tree, but well worth the trip. Jurek's is a pretty big spot that requires some oatienfes and good walking shoes, especially if you miss the tractor that takes you around the plantation to look for trees. There are trees, trees, more trees, warming stations, an area to buy precut trees, and a cafe spot with a Santa Claus. Yeah, it's pretty cool. While we didn't opt to cut down a tree (the cold plus a 3- and 2-year-old in tow will do that), there were some affordable precut options that made everything effortless. Tree shopping at a farm is such a wonderful family tradition that makes our home all the more fragrant for the holidays. We enjoyed our time at Jurek, the pleasant associates, and flat fee for (non-precut) Christmas trees. (Good to know for next year when we cut down our own.)

We had a great experience at Jurek this morning. We were undecided between cutting our own and…read moregetting a precut. Staff was kind when we walked in and explained each process. For those that do cut their own, there are saws to borrow and even a tractor ride that comes around on a 15 min loop. We ended up finding a 7.5 foot Fraser Fir and it cost around $100. Once we decided on the tree, a friendly employee came over and tagged it for us. We paid and were able to pull our car around where they had already taken a fresh cut and some low branches off. Then, they wrapped the tree and tied it to our car roof. Great service and a quick morning! We will be back!

I live not even a mile down the road from this business, have been going there for the last 8 years spending a great amount of money and starting today they have lost my business. I bought $160.00 dollars worth of plants on 5/31, 1 out of the 6 Zinnia's I purchased immediately died within 2 days due to a broken stem that wasn't noticeable at purchase. Called them on 6/2, dealt with Amanda who was honestly the sweetest, kindest person I've ever dealt with besides the gentleman that owns the place and she saw the plant and even agreed with me that it was dead and let me exchange it. I planted the second one the same way as the 5 that are thriving and here we are 10 days later and my plant id app is saying it's sick meaning diseased. So thinking I would just exchange it again so they could see it.... Well this time when I called I got an older lady who literally refused to give me her name and stated "I do not need to give you my name" after I asked for her name at the end of the call because one she never introduced herself like I did and the tone of her voice and the way she talked to me was completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. This older woman told me "we don't do refunds so we're not going to give you another free plant, you are lucky you even got one free plant, for all we know it could have snapped at the base from the wind or you planted it wrong and all of our Zinnias are all healthy and doing great so obviously you did something wrong and killed the plant..." but even though there planted in window boxes and the rest are all thriving. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and unfortunately with them I will never step foot again in that place. If the older gentleman saw me in person along with my significant other, he'd know exactly who we were. Also, if there are supposed signs in your place of business saying no refunds even though I'm not asking for a refund then maybe you should inform your employees regarding it. That older woman who answered my call should never be allowed to answer any calls nor work in a place of business that encounters customers. Absolutely unacceptable
