We write this review with a great deal of gratitude! 5 Star Tree Services removed about a dozen trees (and stump grinding) for us on March 30, 2023. Owner, Brian, and his crew did an amazing job. Not only did they do an amazing job - but with a great deal of care. We are a small sanctuary for elderly horses. The trees were right in the middle of a horse paddock - adjacent to our barn, with fencing all around. The 5 Star crew was first and foremost careful to ensure nothing was damaged - but, too, so thoughtful to ensure the horses were comfortable with all the activity (as the horses watched nearby!) They took their time and the end result was a job well done. We SO appreciate all the CARE for not only the job at hand (tree removal), but the environment in which they worked - a small paddock area with horses nearby. So many companies forget that customer service is SO SO important...but, Brian and his team could not have been kinder and more thoughtful in every interaction. We had a huge branch come down after a windstorm. That branch took out another branch and almost all of the wood landed in our neighbors yard. We realized that we would need help to remove all of the branches. My husband found 5 Star Tree Services and called early Saturday morning, Brian answered and was at our house within a half hour. He was very helpful and said he would be able to do the work first thing on Monday morning. Because most of the work was going to be in our neighbor's yard, we were happy that he was willing to do the work without heavy equipment which would damage the lawn. They showed up right on time, the work went fast and they did a great job. Our other neighbor had them come back the next week and take down a tree in his yard. A large branch from one of our trees landed mostly in our neighbor's yard late on a Friday, so we wanted it dealt with asap. Despite being a holiday weekend Brian came over on the Saturday and gave us an estimate in less than an hour from the time I first requested a quote. The price was very fair. The team performed the service, which was excellent, on Monday. Importantly, they carried out the branches and wood without machines so that our neighbor's lawn would not suffer. Brian, the owner of the business, was part of the team and supervised the work from start to finish. 5 Star Tree Services was great. They removed five, tall arborvitae (about 6') and their root balls, along with a red currant bush. The Bomb Cyclone permanently damaged all the trees and bush. The tallest, widest, oldest tree and berry bush were at least 52 years old, the others about 8 years. The company was efficient, reasonably priced, dependable, and nice. Brian was fantastic. I had a bit of a "tree emergency" on a Sunday at 6:00 pm when a dead ash tree that I was trying to take down on my own teetered, and looked like it might fall into my pool and deck. Called 5 star in a panic, and Brian and Chris arrived within 1/2 hour. Took down the tree, took down another, cut up the wood, stumped jagged stumps I had, and cleared the ssrea... all for a fair price. Highly recommend. read more

Brian, the owner, has excellent people skills and customer service focus. He's so personable and was really great to work with. Brain has a trained eye in shaping shrubs and trees. I had a lot of dead branches and shrubs than needed to be cleaned out, which he did. And the shrubs & tree he shaped look fabulous. Had a few dozen dead ash trees on the property at one point and one large one still standing. Brian came over the next day for a quote and 2 days later tree was down and all the stumps were ground down and area cleared of all debris.
