We needed some trees removed and cleared from our yard, and thought this would be a great company to give our hard earned $ to. Boy were we ever wrong. First they showed up 3 days AFTER they were scheduled to show, knowing no one would be home for them to speak with. (They did have cell #s to keep in touch). Upon arrival it didn't seem that they actually knew what was even going on. They didn't know what was supposed to be cut down, or where. Then, they text at an inappropriate hour that they're going to show the next day. No warning, no communication AT ALL. Things that were agreed upon were never completed. We received a half assed job on day 1, and they STILL never completed the work that was agreed upon on day 2. Next, they tried to charge us extra money for things that THEY were supposed to complete on day 1. Absolutely not. To this day, we still did not get what was agreed upon and had to find a second tree company. DO NOT waste your money here. You WILL be scammed one way or another. This is not how you run a business. Their customer service is BEYOND poor, and they had the audacity to blame US for not being home for communication when THEY are the ones who gave less than an 8 hour notice for arrival AND showed up 3 days late! Trees are us came and remove a sweetgum tree off the house back in July of 2021 and was pay for job to be done. It is now Feb 2022 and the job is still not done. Every time that I try to call them I can not get them to pick up the phone or return a phone call. I guess since they all ready have there money they say the hell with you. But since their tree rope is still here I guest I will be keeping their rope for a job not completed. read more

Don't use these people! They threaten my grandfather to have him locked up because he hadn't paid them yet. He was waiting on the mortgage company to release the money first before paying! They added in extra fees for things that didn't take place on the property! Taking advantage of a 86 year old man. He paid out of his pocket all because they scared him into having him arrested!! I have no idea whether or not they can actually handle a tree, but the fact that their "marketing" consists of driving through neighborhoods throwing flyers into people's yards is really kind of not okay. Way to show you respect someone's property by littering all over it. read more

I wished I had not hired this company to cut trees in my yard. They completely destroyed my lawn first by cutting the tall trees and letting them drop and tear holes in the lawn. The cutter and one more guy came before the rest of the crew. He cut the trees let them fall on each other and had a big mess. The crew were pissed off when they arrived. It took them all day to try to clean up the mess. The bobcat tore my previously sodded grass and lawn up, and they cleaned up about 2 thirds of the yard. They left mud and dirt, and told me I should have know that they would tear up the yard since the trees were so large. They left chips on my roof, on my yard and the neighbors property. They left hydraulic fuel, oil from leaking vehicles, in my driveway and on street in front of house. After destroying my yard with their equipment they offered $175 to compensate for a pallet of sod. It took me 16 pallets and 2 years of maintenance to get the lawn in condition. Do not use them! Piss poor customer service. The stump cutter had to come back the next day because of they wasted his day. He could not get to the yard because of the mess. Terrible! read more

I truly regret not checking online reviews for this company before hiring them to cut trees and grind stumps on my property. My experience with Trees Are Us was completely unsatisfactory. Trees Are Us: 1) Did not show up on the date scheduled. 2) Failed to bring the appropriate equipment needed to do all the agreed upon work; 3) Had to borrow equipment from a landscape contractor I happened to have onsite to perform a portion of the work; 4) Told me they would schedule a third date to come out again with the appropriate equipment to complete the work; 5) Instead, followed up by text and informed me they did not plan to complete any additional work. 6) When I phoned and talked with one of the co-owners to resolve the issue and get the work completed, the second co-owner (the husband) spoke over his wife in such an unprofessional and hostile manner to me that I couldn't believe I was interacting with a business owner. Avoid this family-run business. They are not able to do very basic tree work or follow through on their commitments. read more

I have not yet decided which tree service I am going to use but I think it is disgraceful that someone would trash them for advertising. Many companies go throughout neighborhoods and leave material to advertise and grow their business. That is smart business, and a great inexpensive way to get started. They did a fantastic job! They didn't even mind, adding more work to the job. I negotiated a price for the extra work, and they were extremely professional the entire time. In and out, very quick work. Very professional though. The yard was left in much better condition then when they came, and they did it all for a very reasonable price.
