We needed to have our trees trimmed for our homeowners insurance and he was quick to call me back and come give me an estimate. He then was able to fit us in within a few days. I chose to go with Don because I felt like he gave a fair estimate, was knowledgeable and he would be coming to do the work himself instead of sending just a crew. They trimmed the tree canopy to where it doesn't look butchered, but enhanced. They cleaned everything up before thwy left. We called Tree Works Plus to come out for a quote on a 19ft dead tree to be cut down a Magnolia to be trimmed and Crepe Myrtle topped off. We have fruit trees I wanted to keep. Mr. Hurd listened and explained what it would involve. They came out soon after and did an amazing job. Got everything done. None of my fruit trees were touched. Tree Works Plus Inc removed a tree w stump + provided other landscaping services in our front yard. They left the yard looking beautiful. I felt that we really got true bargain value for the work completed. It may be hard to appreciate all the skill & hard work, the responsibilities involved, the potential dangers or damage that could occur. Choosing the right company is crucial. We would definitely choose this company again and recommend them to family and to friends. Prior to getting a quote from Tree Works Plus Inc, we received a free quote from a fairly sizable competitor. We ended up not using the competitor when accidentally discovered they were NOT upfront about all associated fees to perform the job; they also asked for our signature on their "partial" quote. (They had plenty of opportunity to be clear about the fees with us.) We didn't like the shady approach, so couldn't trust them to do the work. Tree Works Plus Inc quoted ALL fees upfront and their estimate was free. Not only was their quote clear& fully transparent, but they honored that quote even when they found some hurdles that they didn't expect on the job. Team is highly organized, efficient, operated very professionall;, felt they were committed to safety, landscape aesthetics; their equipment is top-notch & since much of the equipment is large - they managed car and foot traffic flow well/safely in our large and somewhat busy neighborhood. Dan kept us informed during the job too. Really liked that he double checked on every item on our proposal order to make sure they were getting the right tree, etc. It's the little things that help avoid disaster. Team didn't realize tree to be removed was in a soil mixed with rocks but were very professional working it out carefully, securing area around job when grinding stum (from potential flying rocks). I am an elderly, single woman, and have been taken advantage of by many businesses more times than I care to remember; Don would never do that to me, or anyone else, I am certain! Since the job involved the fence line trimming of my neighbor's overhanging trees, Don discussed the plan with the neighbors so they knew what to expect (great neighbors, no problems at all. They gave us a great quote for both my house and my mom's house. The very large oak (24") had a street light mounted on it and they removed the tree down to the light without breaking it. They removed some very large limbs over my house, and no damage and no mess. They also removed a large oak (18"), stump and all, and you could barely tell where the tree had been. This service is great. Excellent work at a fair price. Don is experienced and extremely efficient and straightforward. He cut down my neighbors half dead tree, and we watched him do a such a good job; we asked him to look at our situation. He had his crew cut down a huge tree that was rotting out on the inside. The tree was between our house and our other neighbors house and the limbs were hanging over our roof and also causing a mess in the driveway. We were amazed at his precision in getting that tree down. In our backyard, he also removed some widow makers and pruned some other trees and we feel much safer. Our other neighbor was also impressed and hired him to prune some of his trees.
