Matthew Campbell, the owner of the only 5 star rated tree service, returned my call right away. He came out to assess the concern. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable, with 25 yrs experience. He is professional and engaging... he is honest, reasonable and a man of his word, which is very hard to find these days. He arrived when he said he would.......said the job would take about 2 hours, which it did, and he thoroughly cleaned everything up!!! And by the way, I'd gotten 2 other quotes - both significantly more expensive and one of them said it would take him all day to do it And that he wouldn't be able to grind the stumps...... which Matthew Was able to do!!! Has never showed up when promised, ... but the big thing is billing us for services not rendered. We cancelled and he billed us again for this month and hasn't responded to my wife's contact about it. We are disputing the claim through our bank. In addition to this when my wife contacted him to ask when the work would be done (after 3 weeks late) he got defensive and short with her. We gave him the benefit of the doubt until billing us for services not provided. I have no patience with that.
