This nursery knowingly promotes and is shipping unregulated invasive plant species across Canada. They are responsible for introducing Eurasian plant species, including Caragana, into some of our last prairie remnants (see Project Forest). This will choke out the grassland plants. Caragana is allelopathic and stops surrounding plants from growing. Treetime sells unregulated invasive plant species. Some of these include European Mountain Ash, Burning Bush, Norway Maple, Barberry, Russian Olive, Scots Pine, Sea Buckthorn, Black Locust, Amur Maple, and Common Caragana. See the Canadian Coalition for Invasive Plant Regulation for more detail. Non-native plants that choke out native plant habitat are not a climate based solution. Look at Elk Island National Park where Caragana has invaded and replaced much of the native Beaked Hazelnut shrubs in the forest understory. Ordered 30 trees last year, over the summer lost two trees. Now this spring three did not make the winter. I think that's not bad for losses. Have another 30 coming this year, guess we'll see if it's average. They have good selection of trees, prices are fair on some trees, higher compared to other suppliers on other trees. If this next batch of 30 grow well, I will be ordering 200+ trees for next season. read more

Sold dead Goji Berries and given a month and a half run around. They shipped dead cuttings when approaches about it did everything they could to slowly reply a week in between email. Was told could have store credit or reimbursement I choose I have the money put into Romeo Cherry trees which they had heavily discounted online. They tried to charge me full price and no free shipping which I said no to and wanted my money reimbursed. The owner Lawrence replied they would NOT refund for the dead Gojis cause I'm sure they have sold a ton of dead cuttings and want to force people to get something else. I bought caraganas, acute willow and cotoneaster shrubs. I also purchased blue spruce, dragon spruce and concolor firs. It has been a month and a half. All of the plants came well packaged and hydrated. I had trouble with one of my trees and asked how to revive it, Larry was in frequent contact trying to help. Later on, I saw a rabbit chewing on it and have tried replanting but he keeps coming back which may have been the problem all along. The company has been great and I have been able to move towards growing a forest as the costs are great. read more

I bought 5 trees from treetime.ca. All the trees were extremely small. They claim that these trees are 1 year old tree. Actually the sizes are from 10cm to 15 cm. One tree was shipped without any soil and it didnot servive. read more

They sold me a plum tree with a 117° bend at the graft and told me it was "stong and healthy" when I complained. They also claim to not have no control over growth and biology. They majorly failed with this tree, and apparently think it's good enough to sell at full price. If you want a straight tree and descent customer service, don't purchase from them. read more

My order from TreeTime came early, was told that it was a mistake on their end and I would be given new trees as it was their mistake. Told in writing and verbally. The Customer service rep said that new trees would be given on a voicemail on my home phone that I missed before I even requested new trees to be sent. Stated that these trees would be given to staff and not sent back to me. The same trees arrive again after already being shipped and damaged. I made an appeal to general manager for a replacement. General Manager goes off on emails pretending that I threatened their customer service representative with a bad review two weeks ago. I have all my emails saved that did not happen I did not say I would make a bad review with the customer service rep on May 22 I said that to the general manager on June 4 when I realized that they had misrepresented facts by providing the same trees twice that had already been shipped and taken out of cold storage twice. General Manager stated I made unreasonable demands; the customer service rep said I would get new trees before I made any demands. I asked for nothing other than what I was told. I should've asked for the refund after the first mistake. They said they told me that the trees would be replaced to comfort me and that the trees were fine. Regardless of if they were fine they should not have told me something that was not true. I don't want to spend money at a company that sends packages by mistake. Bottom line: There warehouse shipped my order by mistake. I was told something that was not true so that I did not ask for a refund at that time. Waited two weeks and found that what I was told was not true. I do not recommend purchasing from an organization that has customer service reps making statements that they cannot live up to. Extremely bad service I was not taken seriously. I have all emails saved and voicemail messages recorded with times. It could've been resolved two weeks ago if they had been honest. Got my money back but they would not admit any wrongdoing. read more

Trees are much much smaller than other bare root sellers and are over priced and arrive dry. Very very bad customer service. Do not recommend order elsewhere there are many nurseries with better customer service and better quality trees at lower prices. read more

Please do not purchase any sort of trees from Tree Time. What we got were little twigs that will take years upon years to grow - if they do grow. we spend $100.00 and all we can do is laugh because we should be crying with throwing our money away. We ordered 3 Berry Blue Honeyberrys which were suppose to be one years old. not!!!!! they are small twigs, 1 1/2" long and I had to protect them in the garden, because I figured they would get pulled as a twig weed. seriously!! we also purchased Souris Raspberry bushes 15 of them. they are about 4 inches long and are a twig. none of the seedlings have any green or growth on them. I doubt they will grow at all. I will be pulling twigs that cost $100.00. furthermore, this company called Tree Time (aka - Rip off Time) do not do refunds. I am so so so disappointed. please do not buy from this company. or you will get a twig!!!! read more
