The people are very friendly and make you feel right at home. My husband and I came for a one night stay in moon dance tipi and we loved it so much we stayed a second night in sun dance. We just couldn't leave. Both tipis were immaculate and perfect. We will be back with all our friends! Thank you Sandy River for a perfectly relaxing stay.

But, not too far to access restaurants and other conveniences ;-) Everything is exactly as it appears on their website! The luxury tipis allow you to reconnect with nature without the complete sacrifice of comfort. If you're like me and want the creature comforts of a soft bed to lay your head and clean private facilities to freshen up or do your business, the luxury tipi is for you! There are six luxury tipis on site with different layouts that accommodate mainly up to four people. However, if you have a larger family or group there are two other tipis that can hold up to six, maybe eight people total?. We chose the Shining Star tipi as it fit our needs and was the furtherest from the rest of the tipis. It is very spacious, with 650 square feet of space. Inside is decorated beautifully with rustic furniture and well equipped with kitchenware and utensils and toiletries. If campfire cooking isn't your thing, fear not-the tipi contains a mini fridge, with a toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The tipi is well designed and the owners truly thought of everything you would need! Foil, campfire cooking ware, dishes, cups, utensils, spices, skewers, dishwashing liquid and paper towels to boot! Although it has heated floors and a heater/AC unit, ceiling fan and a regular table fan, be mindful of when you book your tipi. It can still get really cold or hot dependent upon how low the temperature drops or rises because the tipi isn't insulated. Remember, you're still (glamorous/glorified) camping, but with way more convenience! They do provide extra blankets inside the weaved basket inside the tipi. If you need more you can just ask. We also prepared for the temperature drop that night which dipped into the 30's by layering up. The heating unit and heated floors definitely make a difference, but when the temps go into the extremes you may notice it as well. We could tell how warm it was from the outside when we first checked in and when we came In from cooking dinner on the campfire. Each tipi has its own fire pit with a cooking grate and at least four chairs with cupholders. A full sized picnic table is located near your tipi as well. It was nice to relax and enjoy the serenity. We even had a surprise visitor! A cat from one of the neighboring properties joined us. She's super friendly and cute as can be! She greeted us in the morning, when we were leaving. Too cute! There is plenty to do, or not do if you just want to relax. We were able to visit with the adorable animals on site (albino turkeys, lambs and sheep, a quarter horse, two mini donkeys and chickens! If any eggs are available from the chicken coop you are welcome to gather some for breakfast or one of your meals. The adventure course/zipline course onsite is available as well for additional fees. In addition, you can rent (for additional fees) various types of bikes, canoes, kayaks and SUPs. The latter wasn't available until the day we checked out. But we were still eligible for 20% off the aforementioned activities. If you are an overnight guest, they provide you with a discount code. They also have an outdoor pool. Just keep in mind that all these activities aren't available all year. Most of them close for the winter and reopen in the spring ( seems Mid March? Clarify with the company first). We had a great time! Morgan was pleasant and friendly. She showed us the chicken coop prior to taking us to our tipi. If staying in a tipi they will lead you to your designated parking spot in a golf cart. If you need assistance with luggage etc they transport it for you via the golf cart as vehicles aren't allowed to be driven on the areas in front of the tipis. If you choose, you can purchase a bundle of wood, lighter fluid, s'mores kit or a pint of ice cream if you wish from them. Which is convenient if you want to travel light or don't want to bother running to the store nearby. If you don't make it to Richlands creamery, I highly suggest you buy a pint from Sandy RIver, as it's from RIchlands. It's soo good! Everything was well organized from start of booking to check out. Sarah, had contacted me via phone a couple days prior to our check-in to answer any questions we had and our estimated time of arrival. The day we arrived, check in was smooth and our wood etc we ordered were already available and set out for us! They also checked on us before the evening closed out. My only suggestion is a place to set your bath soap/shampoo in the shower and maybe a curtain near the bathroom, in case you have four people instead of two who aren't related to you in during your stay ;-) Although,The bathroom is configured so no one can really see you if someone should walk into the tipi.

I've been to Urban Air on numerous occasions:Spring break, summer vacation, birthday parties, rainy…read moredays ect. At every occasion my kids have left happy and thrilled by the adventure they have had. Compared to competitors Urban Air ranks high on my list. Here is what we love: - Play Space: there is literally something for everyone. Trampolines, dodge ball, ropes course and laser tag! -seating: there is plenty of places for parents to sit while the kids get the zoomies out. They even have comfy massage chairs (at a cost) -cleanliness: this facility is very clean and well maintained! What I disliked - The noise: it is LOUD! I highly recommend noise cancelling headphones for anyone that is sensitive to sound. My ears physically hurt when I'm here so I always have headphones! -the check in process: it's cashless and done via kiosks. Regardless of the amount of times I've been here the kiosk never remembers my info and I always have to re enter it. -jump socks: you must have Urban Air socks to jump here! No exceptions. They will only honor socks with their branded logo. If you don't have them you have to buy them.

This is new to the area. I saw ads on meta for months promoting Urban Air…read more It was super crowded. I think that's mainly because it's new and it's spring break. Lines were all very long. I stood on the line for close to 20 minutes when I finally get up there, the cashier says I need to complete the waiver. I did have the waiver done before I arrived, but on their end my children's names didn't populate so the cashier says I need to stand on a different (long) line, complete the waiver again then get back on another long line to return to get to get wrist bands and socks. I expressed I didn't want to get back on the long line after standing there already. She looked at me with attitude and didn't even acknowledge what I was saying. This is when I'd normally leave a business but my kids were eager to participate. So I went on both long lines again just for admissions. Once inside tables were very dirty if empty. I went to the concession stand asked for spray to clean myself. The staff told me I needed to wait because he was making orders. I waited then I finally saw a janitor staff. He was actually very kind and helped me right away. (That's why I'm giving an extra star). Later my kids wanted to play the arcade games. I didn't realize the kiosk was on the arcade floor but I asked 4 different staff members where I can purchase the arcade card. None of them knew. They finally asked a supervisor and he directed me. Pros: spacious, they can host parties, food on site, zip line, different experience than most activity spaces in the area, custom packages with tier leveled access Cons: price not worth experience, socks which are mandatory are an extra expense, staff not well trained yet I think they will probably improve once they're established a bit longer, but for now it seems like they weren't prepared to open despite there being so many employees. I'll try again and I'll update my review.

The ride selection is fantastic almost all of them are world-class. My personal favorite is…read morePantheon, although, objectively, Verbolten is probably the best ride in the park. However, the rides are really the only thing I have to say that's positive. Ride operations were poor at best. They take a long time to load and unload, with the only exceptions being Griffon and InvadR. The worst offender was Tempesto. In fact, the entire Festa Italia area had pretty poor operations, which is unfortunate since it has some of the best rides in the park. Tempesto is a very short ride, and in the time it took them just to load one train, it could have completed about eight cycles. I also found that Apollo's Chariot and Pantheon were pretty restrictive for larger riders. I'm not that big of a guy, and they had to squeeze me into both of them. (Also, there's a ride operator at Apollo's Chariot who will, without warning, shove the restraint into your thighs and is apparently not afraid to risk permanent damage to your future lineage.) I can't imagine having to push a wheelchair around this park. There are extremely steep hills everywhere. So if you're planning to visit and have a mobility disability, all I've got to say is: good luck. The food was kind of mid, with one exception: the pizza pretzel. That was actually pretty good. To sum it all up, if you only care about rides, this park is a great option. However, when it comes to literally everything else, it's pretty weak.

Went on a hot day but they have huge fans around to help cool you off. Lots for the little ones to…read moredo. A little pricey to rent a scooter for mom for day but with season pass you get a discount which helped. It's a lot of walking but plenty of shade and shops to pop into for a break. Better than average amusement park food as well.
