Luckily, I met Eric from Alpha1 the following week, and from the moment we started working together, he was prompt, professional, and friendly. He made himself available via phone, text, email, and in person. This was my first time dealing with hail damage, and Eric walked me through the entire process, including how to deal with my insurance and mortgage companies (claims, inspections, checks, endorsements--everything). He set expectations about when the work would be done, followed up with reminders, and came by multiple times to check the work in progress. The crew who did the work was great; they put tarps down everywhere before tearing off the old roof and cleaned up after they were done. They were really thorough and left no trace behind. I honestly thought replacing my roof was going to be a giant hassle and that I would be fighting everyone involved to get it done. Instead, Eric made it a breeze, and it was completely stress-free. It's not easy to trust someone who knocks on your door trying to sell something, but Eric proved himself to be trustworthy and helpful. My issue was a pattern of accepting work that did not seem fully understood, then failing to follow through when problems came up. The project was hired on February 18 and was supposed to be completed by March 7. By March 25, it still was not properly finished. The planned stone grid patio extension was accepted, but we later canceled that portion because confidence in the execution was not there. Even after canceling it, the remaining ask was simple: remove the stones and place them back in the front yard for return. That still was not done. The irrigation issue only reinforced the same concern. When questions came up, I was essentially told to "google it" or switch to "water by hand," which did not inspire confidence that the work had been done correctly. Even a basic gate latch remained unfinished well past the promised completion date. What broke trust for me was not just delay. It was poor judgment in accepting work, weak ownership once concerns were raised, and failure to complete even simple closeout items. I would be very cautious about hiring this company for anything beyond basic planting and mulch.

He did eventually refund them a small portion of the money for the work he never came back to do but is relentlessly harassing them and threatening them now. There are pictures of the terrible job he did on their windows on Google reviews. He is also offering people discounts and free work if they give him good ratings.
