Just as impressive as taking my rake, using said rake, not returning the rake, having it on camera, and two weeks out trying to get said rake back or just financial compensation for it with no results to show. Actions tend to speak louder than words or text messages from Matthew in this case. They also left some pretty deep ruts in my yard from the skid steer loader they were using and communication between Grabill and his crew is lacking. They started cutting up the main trunk when it was not needed as I was going to cut and haul the wood away for my Grandparents since they use it for firewood for the winter and made splitting that wood a bigger hassle. I have no issues with contractors using the tools I leave out, but not returning it is very un-professional and two weeks out of not returning it or financially compensating me for it tells me they have no respect for your property or items on your property. So I guess make sure you have everything put up and double, triple-check your property before you pay them. Maybe then you will have a chance of getting it back. EDIT: So not only did you ghost me for overall for a month about the rake and not return it, you also broke the rake and did not inform me at all. The quote was reasonable and he said he'd be here the next day, so I took him up on his offer. To his credit, the 2 trees were cut down and the 3rd tree was trimmed within 2 days. However, it has been over 2 months of abysmal communication trying to figure out when he will be back to grind the stumps from the trees he cut down as well as clean up additional debris. When I was able to get a hold of him, he'd say he would be here on a certain day and then he wouldn't show up and won't respond to messages.
