We have valued the services of Greentech for many years. Their turf maintenance is exceptional. They also installed our irrigation system and maintain it every year. I hate to do this but after my previous review that was extremely good, it went sour. I preferred them because it felt more like personal service but Greenwich sold off their fertilizing business to Buckeye Eco Care. I was extremely disappointed as I moved and was looking for a place to do my fertilizing. My yard had reduced from roughly 15000 sq ft to about 4700 sq ft and the price went up. I had to say no and found another place that actually measured it correctly. Buckeye initially said I had 7000 sq ft which didn't add up. Not sure if I can mention the place I went to but it's all organic material which was important to me and my price was about half of what Buckeye quoted. I had fired several places prior because the big businesses which I caught on video was only spraying small sections of the yard. Spent 5 minutes and charged full price. I'm going to stick with Zeiler Lawn Care as long as they keep up the quality work I've received this past year. read more

I had a two year relationship with this company servicing initially two properties and currently just our primary residence. I just experienced one the worst customer service experiences with one of their primary lawn car technicians - Chris. In summary, about three weeks ago we had major yellow patches appear on our lawn. I held their latest invoice and asked them to come out and access/fix the situation. The first technician came out yesterday. He was unable to ascertain the problem. However, he agreed to put a new strip of sod down and remedy the problem. He requested that Chris also come out to review the situation. Chris come out to our home today. I came out to the house to find him inspecting the problem area. He never shook my hand and then began a littany of reasons as to why the problem area had nothing to do with the actions of Greentech (e.g., it is not our fault routine). Also, I shared with him the opinion of a neighbor up the street who works for another lawn care company, that problem may be a case of "Summer Patch". In response, Chris stated that it is not the issue - making me feel like an idiot in sharing this opinion. In the same breath, he then stated he is seeing the issue in other lawns and was having an expert from OSU come out from Columbus, OH to do a professional diagnosis. The straw that broke the camels back was his conveyance that we were now on credit hold (e.g., due to the fact that we held up our last payment due to the lawn issue). Please note that we spend more on a monthly basis having our lawn mowed then what the bill totalled and have a multi-year relationship with the firm...never a payment problem. Bottom line, extremely poor attitude and an underlining approach of avoiding responsibility...not what I would recommend in a service provider. read more
