This company cut down 3 trees for. They were supposed to cut into manageable pieces. Left a giant tree, not cut through that I couldn't move much less cut. Wanted to charge me additional 300.00 to cut it up.​ I didn't ask for removal, just pieces I could handle that weren't 3 feet wide. Told me they were coming back for stump grinding and never did. I just recently moved to Medham, NJ from the City. My wife and I purchased a State a few month ago, over 6800 square feet home, about 8 acres of land. I called this company (Tree Guy Now) to order a few trucks load of fire wood for the upcoming season, as my neighbor suggested to call a fire wood company and stack up during the summer. I spoke with a lady who was very polite. I told her I was new buying firewood and she was explaining what I should do and will get on a truck load, cost and how to keep it on a good condition outside. From not where, I hear a man's voice, I got confused for a second, the person said, have you ever purchased Fire Wood? I said, I am sorry, are you speaking to me? he said, have you ever purchased Fire Wood before? I said not, the lady was explaining it. He said then I will not sale you wood, because I do not want a bad review. Then, he hand up the phone. First of all, how does he knows I will give him a bad reviewed? I guess, I should, not for the product, but for a very poor Customer Service and rudeness. Just for that, not even if I would get it for free, I want nothing to do with him. I wouldn't be surprised that he snatched the phone from the poor lady and jumped into the conversation. Second, There is always a first time, specially for new customers. I guess, he believes he does not need more customers or sales. I have been in business before I graduated from College. I would never hang up a phone on a customer, specially a new customer. I will not be using the again. I was given a scope of work verbally at quote, once at the home to do the work the scope of work and price changed. My advice is make sure you get the scope of the work in detail in writing. I will not use them again. read more

Initially everything went well. He came out and gave us an estimate to cut down a tree and grind 2 stumps. They got the tree down quickly and efficiently; however, they never came out to grind the stumps. It would be one thing if they told us they didn't plan to come back, but we called 3 separate times. Each time they said they would be out the following weekend and each weekend passed by without them coming out and with no contact explaining that. I should have read the bad reviews before I hired this company to remove a tree in January 2019. I was told by Andre prior to the work being done, that he would fix any property damage after the tree removal, including bringing topsoil to repair any damage to the yard, which he said was part of the service that I paid for. Not only was the yard damaged from the large, heavy equipment, he said he had to leave one of the large tractors on the property because it sunk and he was unable to remove it from the property. The tractor sat on the property approximately 2 weeks. Andre also gave me a quote to replace the roof, and said he would make sure to have the work done the beginning of Spring. Since the Spring, I have called MORE than a DOZEN times and have spoken to his wife Allison, about the roof AND the damage to the property. Every single time I called Allison she said she would have Andre or the roof guy get right back to me, so I would sit and wait for the call. I never once received a call back. A couple of times she even argued with me about the roof stating 'we don't do roof work, we just do tree work'. I pointed out that in THEIR ads in the Treasure Hunt, it clearly states roof work, along with a bunch of other things that they supposedly do. So now I have to find someone else to replace the roof, and my property looks like a war zone, with deep tracks all over the back and side of the house. Very, very bad customer service. DO NOT use this company - they are extremely unprofessional My neighbor hired them to trim and remove trees today.. they let limbs fall on our property.. accidents happen BUT... they proceeded to let themselves into our fenced in yard without getting permission from anyone.. they trampled our flower beds and were pulling the limbs over our plastic fence.. My mom asked them what they were doing.. informed them that they didn't ask permission to enter our yard.. explained to them how dangerous it was to enter someones yard without permission especially a yard fenced in for a dog.. she also explained that they were trampling my flower beds.. and that I was really not going to be happy with them.. I called to try and talk to them about it and they were extremely rude over the phone and offered no explanation as to why they thought it was okay to enter someones property without their permission - they didn't even attempt to knock on our door.. or to call my neighbor that hired them to ask about entering my property.. read more

I called Tree Guy Now this past Monday, May 23, 2016. A guy named Andre answered my call and we set up an appointment for a free consultation that evening. Andre said he would call when he was on his way to my house. We agreed on a 7pm appointment. Surprisingly Andre called at 6:45 to let us know that "I am 15 minutes away, see you soon". Andre rang the door bell at exactly 7pm and diplomatically introduced himself. I put my hand out to shake his hand and he handed me a magnet for the refrigerator with his business card attached to it. We shook hands and took a walk around my entire property, twice! Andre spent an hour and a half with me which was rather impressive considering it was a free consultation. He was didn't say a word during the first walk thru but he looked like he was taking notes. During the second walk thru Andre had a lot to say. He had a scientific explanation for all my questions and concerns, extremely interesting and informative. Andre wrote up a proposal on the spot, he shook our hands and proceeded to leave. My wife stopped him and asked him what his schedule looked like. Andre scheduled us in for exactly a week after the day he gave us our proposal. Tree Guy Now has some of the most professional young workers we have encountered. The young men completed the work quickly and safely. I am extremely impressed with Tree Guy Now, so much so that I recommended them to my mother as well as friends and family.
