In short if a business does not honor it's commitments and a business owner does not honor an agreement and/or their word, the business and the business owner cannot be trusted! After the fact I saw other individuals posted reviews on Google and Facebook having the same type of encounter, apparently this a pattern with David - not returning potential customer phone calls when he has committed to a project and not following up with potential customer email inquiries. I was fortunate enough to locate and work with a true professional landscaping company licensed and registered in NJ & PA (SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE), with a perfect customer rating, has a professional Website and SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE were consistent with communications, projects are fairly priced, and THE SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE team were a pure joy to work with. We are so glad we found Atlantic ridge. My wife emailed Atlantic Ridge and expressed our issue. We wanted both hardscape with landscape we wanted a professional with different ideas and different layouts. Chris came out to the house with his designer. Abandoned Project, No Communication, No Refund…read more In Sept. 2025, we hired this company and paid a deposit for lawn mowing + fertilization for the remaining of 2025 and the 2026 season, aeration and to fill a depression in the backyard and overseed. Michael Ruggiero and his fiancée Danielle came out in the middle of October to perform the aeration and overseeding. They never mowed or filled in the depression in the backyard. We have been trying to contact them since Nov. 2025 by utilizing the e-mail address and phone numbers which they provided to us. To date as of March 2026, they haven't replied to any of the messages which we have left them. We have also sent them a certified letter with no response. There has been no communication from their side. They are holding on to part of our deposit which they haven't done any work for. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and unreliability. Also, the fact that they are holding on to our money for services not provided and no refund. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend them for any landscaping work. DD and AMD
