Paul has done two jobs for us now. He's really easy to get in touch wish, super reliable,…read moreknowledgeable, and importantly: REASONABLE! First job was to install a microwave - it was done in a jiffy. Second job was plumbing work. We had been quoted over $650 by different plumbers the day before, and Paul just finished it perfectly for under $200. He also came one day after we first called to make an appointment. He's very personable, made me feel comfortable working in my home, and will be our first call next time we need any help around here. THANK YOU PAUL, and thank you Roland too!

I hired 99 Handy to build an indoor 9'x7' wall with specialized insulation. Their builder arrived…read moresix hours late with the wrong building materials on the first day. On the second day, he arrived late again, at 6pm and didn't compete the job. I called 99 twice to have the wall fixed, emailed them twice, and sent them two facebook messages asking them to fix their work. They stuck me with a half-finished, warped wall, which had to be completely re-done. See my pics of their horrible work and horrible customer service. Do not use 99 Handy. Update 12/20/2016 - 99 has not reimbursed me, as they claim in their below response. They were also untruthful about the materials purchased. Feel free to IM me for my itemized 99Handy receipt and picture evidence.

The quality of the work was very good, they stuck to the estimate (despite a couple of hiccups that required some extra work), and finished when they said they would. Believe the hype!…read more Often when I read this many positive reviews on Yelp, I wonder if the company has asked for such reviews. Fear not -- Adam and his team are the real deal. I had my kitchen renovated while living in my unit. The workers did their best to remain unobtrusive, and they timed the project so that I could use my kitchen almost the entire time. Adam's prices were extremely reasonable. I appreciated that, when I made a few last-minute requests on project changes, he was flexible. My favorite thing is that Adam gave me a lot of peace-of-mind -- I am a huge worrywart, and I probably sent Adam an email every day (on average) to follow-up on the status of the project. Adam replied to every email and call very patiently and was always very communicative. You really can't ask for more. Highly recommended; I won't hesitate to call Adam again when I need more renovations done. Thanks Adam!

Dave Lowe was the electrician responsible for designing and wiring my entire 4000 sqft gut…read morerenovation of our 1880s victorian house. He made such a positive impression on us for that experience that we've reached out to him for home electrical needs since the remodel, and he's been an absolute joy to work with. A few things i want to highlight: 1. Responsiveness: Dave is quick to respond and readily available; this is definitely not the case with many electricians (or contractors, for the matter). I also appreciate that once you've done business with him, he keeps you in his contacts - having a pointperson to go to who knows your house, particularly for the ins and outs of circuitry...SO helpful. 2. Professionalism: Dave is always very courteous when entering our home. For example, he is aware we don't wear shoes in the house; he's always thoughtful and asks us about expectations + puts on booties when in the house. Super helpful, given I have little kiddos running around. Another example - we had a piece of glass on a lighting fixture break in the install. Dave replaced the piece, no question asked, no cost to us. 3. Quality of work: Like I said, 4000 sqft of lighting is a lot of lighting (and electricity). We've had no issues, and honestly he was helpful in those early days when we were figuring out what the right thing to do for our home was. We even had him working with some newfangled technology (smart home stuff); he did it with ease and we're super happy with the end-product 10 for 10, happily continuing to work with Dave, and happily recommending him to all friends and family.
