I am a bit lazy to do the trimming myself, so i was looking around and i am glad i found this place. I made the appointment on the site and went there at the time, Reza was a bit busy so he asked me to stay or reschedule, i decides to stay. He offered me a drink, which i accepted, and while i stayed he had good music playing as well. He made some recommendations as far as how to keep my beard growing and once he was done i looked like a different person. Today was a GREAT day as I met my forever stylist! I have been living in L.A. now for almost 3 years and have had a challenging time trying to find a stylist that checks off the boxes for me. While being frustrated with my (longer) hair and the volume/bulk on the sides, I somehow thought it would be a good idea to just trim the sides a bit at home until I could manage to get to a stylist in the upcoming week. Needless to say, I had no business attempting to "clean up" my own hair and realized I had fu**ed up majorly. So the panic sat in and the search for someone to fix the damage began. I was fortunate enough to have the first 2-3 salons I called tell me that they were either about to close up shop or they simply didn't my have any appointments for today. The next call I made was to Treasured Blades and Reza answered and immediately put my mind at ease with a few simple words, "come in and I'll fix it." I showed up and immediately knew I was at the right shop and about to have an experience. Reza is amazingly meticulous and his attention to detail is unmatched in my experience, having had hundreds of haircuts throughout my years. He not only fixed the damage I had done, but went on to give me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. He then diverted his attention to all the stragglers along my beard, eyebrows, etc. An amazing, upscale spa -type experience! Pricey but one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Reza's attention to detail is incredible. If you're looking for anything above a simple cut this place is worth every penny. Free drinks while you're waiting and the place oozes old school barbershop/ cigar lounge vibes (without the smell). To the other couple reviews saying he was unfriendly, I got the impression that he was just really focused on the haircut. I recently visited this shop that was by my house, place seems nice but very empty when i drive by. Though his business would be a lot better for someone who opened in april. But i decided to give it a shot. So Reza mousavi "the owner"was cutting my hair. I wouldnt call him a barber because I feel like he needs to stop cutting hair and find a different trade. So this boy Reza cut my hair and did a horrible job. Not only did my fade and line up look like shit but he didn't do what i asked him to do. He doesn't clean his tools theres no sanitary solution on any of the work tables. I noticed him and his co workers would make little comments at me in another language inwhich I didn't understand. But I do understand when people r looking at u and laughing at u there most likely talking about u. When I would try to talk to him he kept thing very short and made it noticeable that he doesn't like me for whatever reason. Might be that funny looking head of his shoved up his u know where. Since it was my first time he offers a 20% discount. I got a simple haircut which came out to $75. I asked him how with a 20% discount its at $75. He argued with me and told me that is the price and he doesnt do free haircuts. I told him money not a issue with me but i can see money is definitely a issue with u. He got up set after i told him that and threw a towel in my face and told me to leave. Very professional for a little boy owner to do that. I forgot how funny it is seeing a girl like him throw a towel at someone. This place may look nice but the man in the denim vest and gray bread that has an accent is fricking hella rude AF. He judges you and not just that, when my man and I walked in to get a haircut the way he presented himself and the shop is unprofessional. He straight up stared at us and just said nothing. This was probably the best haircut experience I've had. My son had came here before and seeing how well done his hair was and recommendations from friends in Las Vegas, Orange County and Los Angeles, I wanted to check the place out myself. When I first arrived I was greeted with the upmost hospitality and was offered coffee. Reza, the barber, made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. He was very friendly but professional at the same time. He took his time and did not rush, making sure I was happy with my cut. Not only did I get a skin fade but a nose/ear wax, treading, facial and a hand wax that left my hands softer then ever. I am also in the military and was offered a military discount when I showed my CAC (military ID). My co workers liked my hair so much they now want to go here for their haircuts too.
