I know many people who have sent their kids there (and one of my best friends went to Kim's when he was a kid--he's 29 years old now. He loved it!) . All the kids rave about it. My son has already told me that he wants to go back again for next year. He says it's the best camp. The staff are wholesome and down to earth. The camp has so many fun activities and adventures--without wearing down the campers. The camp is super chill and relaxed yet maintaining campers' safety and protection. Another great thing is the intimacy of the camp director and staff. They really get to know us and they are super approachable and down to earth. They do not have any pretension or arrogance. They're the real-deal. And they take such good care of their staff. I am a union organizer--so I look at these sort of things. I can tell that they are always looking out for the campers AND the staff. I am touched by the support that the administration offers to the staff. I love the staff. They're all fascinating individuals who really love the campers. We are so grateful that we have an opportunity to send our son to such a fabulous space. We will be surely sending our son there again. The camp is super flexible. For instance, I have summer Fridays so I send my son there for 4 days instead of 5. It's great to be able to save that kind of money The camp (Sandra) sends out an email with updates about the plans for the following day with instructions etc. Sandra is very responsive to emails and offers personalized care. She was very empathetic and flexible to me when I had a miscarriage while I was registering my son for camp. That sort of care is immeasurable. In addition, every morning--the adorable Camp Director Dan gives us an update. Dan is awesome. He's like a real new yorker. He's been doing this camp for 30+ years. He says that he has basically made a camp that he wished he had when he was a kid. My son loves Dan's stories...actually all kids' love Dan's stories. He is amazing.

We were looking for a camp that takes the kid to all those places we can't because we're working or we're too tired to drive there. Each day in Kim's Kids is a day trip in a bus to the beach, pool, bowling alley, aquarium, ice skating ring, and so on. It's affordable and they take good care of the children. It's a great feeling when you think about your child having a blast while you're in a zoom meeting. And then during the weekend you don't feel bad if you just want to stay home and relax because your child already went to the beach, the pool and all the fun places!

Picking the perfect daycare is one of the hardest decisions as a mother..I had so much anxiety…read moresince my 1.5 YO at the time was a pandemic baby so all he knew was his nanny and our family. My baby would never let anyone hold him and would freak out if anyone ever came near him. I brought him with me when i went on the tour and shockingly he went to one of the care takers and held out his arms asking to be held!!!!! That was the second I knew this was our place! It gave me so much peace and as weeks went by, I got even more confirmation that it was the best decision i made because he loves getting dropped off and i could see the happiness in his eyes. To this day, he still keeps his circle super tight, but he LOVES the staff here and they really do feel like our extended family. We love Home Sweet Home! The cherry on top is the elaborate and over the top holiday celebrations, lunches and photo shoots they offer us! Gladys and Amanda have truly been a blessing to our family!

My daughter is always clean, happy, and well fed at pick up. And the bilingual emersion has helped her learn counting and colors in Spanish as well as simple commands. We always know what she's doing and eating during the day through their social media and activity log 2. Their staff retention speaks volumes to how they treat their staff and care for our children. An example of this is the CPR training and team building events they provide for their team. 3. The services they provide from organic meals, to age appropriate activities and workshops to hosting events for enrollees makes their competitive and fair rates a value. Their small class settings and staff to child ratio ensures that our daughter is getting quality care and is in good hands. We are so thankful to have Home Sweet Home in our lives.
