I never pass up the chance to stop at Adjectives Market when I am in Central Florida. I have…read morevisited the \Winter Haven and Winter Park locations but this is my first time experiencing their first location which opened in 2012 in Altamonte Springs. Adjectives Market was founded by former attorney Jeremy Thompson and they have now grown to five locations. Adjectives Market sells new, antique, and vintage items. They focus on unique but affordable items. The idea for adjectives came to Jeremy from his love of the kind of vintage markets you find in New York, Atlanta, and Miami. He wanted the store to show how vintage items could be incorporated into modern design. Adjectives was chosen for the name of the store because it represents the large vocabulary one would need to describe it. Each store curates new and vintage inspired home decor. I was blown away but how large this store is. There are multiple rooms filled with furniture and home decor. Everything was so beautifully displayed. They also sell holiday decorations, clothes, accessories, and jewelry from a mixture of artists, home decor experts, and craftsmen. You are sure to find things you have never seen before. This store answers the problem I have when I go to antique malls or stores. You can see an item you love on a dusty shelf but you can't work out in your mind how it will fit into your space. Everything here is displayed in such a thoughtful way that you can easily imagine it in your own home. I especially love to visit when they have all of their holiday decor out. If you are looking for a one of a kind gift, this is the perfect place to shop. I could spend hours exploring this store and I literally want everything. I just wish they would open in South Florida. For now I have to be content with visiting them in Central Florida.

We were greeted upon arrival and checked on while perusing the isles. At first glance, the store seemed a bit small, which turned out to be incorrect; however, even though they had a good many things, including a very pretty wash basin and vanity desk, the place also served as a sort of boutique with lotions, soaps and other items to delight their older customers. As serious antique customers, we prefer real antique stores and unfortunately did not find that had to have item. I think it says something when the customer, after walking a third of the store, starts looking up other antique stores to visit next. It was worth stopping by; however, we will not be adding Wirewood Market to our favorites list for yearly trips.

Pricing is fair, although some items such as vintage Santa and Elf figurines were priced higher here than other local thrift shops in the area. There is a restroom available to customers who shop here. I didn't purchase anything today, but my mom found a bunch of stuff. She was ecstatic to find three Putz Houses (Paper Houses) that she had to buy. Two were selling for $12.95 each and the other for $4.95. The staff were great and gently wrapped all of my mom's items to protect them for the trip back to NY. The store is immaculate and decorated beautifully, we easily spent 45-mn to an hour here. They also have a little coffee station available for customers shopping here and the coffee is very good. There is a lot to see here and if you know anyone who owns a log cabin or cottage, bring them with you because they will be in heaven! I highly recommend stopping here if you happen to be shopping in the area. I know it won't be our last time shopping here.

I recently went to get a hamper, since my last one finally fell apart. This time, i got the bamboo double (divided). It was easy to put together and it's lightweight but quality. In January, I went and bought all sorts of Christmas ribbon on sale for projects I wanna do this coming Christmas. I would recommend this place for holiday stuff and hope decor for all seasons. They also have quite the selection of frames and mirrors. Parking is plentiful. Although I shop quick and get out before I spend too much, I like that their shopping carts have a drink holder!!! There is also a good chance that you'll find something that you weren't looking for as well. They are generally well stocked in a variety of categories - whether you are looking for books, home decor, yard items or clothing they probably have something that you can use or want to buy. This is definitely a place where you could end up with a few impulse purchases if you're not diligent. Even with the appearance of chaos most things are always well-categorized so it is easy to determine what aisle or section of the store that you might find an item. The only interaction that I tend to have with employees would be at check-out. I don't think that I've ever seen anyone that works there walking around or stocking. I've never had a bad experience shopping here. Finally, most of the time the prices are reasonable, and you get what you pay for. I have noticed that sometimes bank and credit cards will have a cashback or discount option when shopping at Ollie's. Finally, the store is located in a shopping plaza that share a reasonably sized parking lot with other stores and a Buffalo Wild Wings.

I found several styles. I ended up getting one Christmas theme butter dish and one every day styled butter dish. I grabbed a pack of cocktail napkins and that was it. Mission accomplished. I did spend some time looking at the Christmas stuff, the holiday sweaters, the backpacks and bags, and the many sale aisles. You could spend hours here. Luckily, I went online first to see if they even had butter dishes. So I knew that they had some before I went there. Parking is plentiful. There's plenty of registers to get you checked out in a timely fashion. They pack up your items carefully. It is a great store but I gotta be careful when I go there- I just want to buy everything!

I enjoy going 1st thing in the morning on weekends or during dinner time during the week.

The main reason being that the parking lot is much more friendly, there are plenty of spots, and the store seemed less busy overall. It's located as a standalone which I think is mainly why it's a little less chaotic than its sister store. They have all the same offerings you'd expect to find for this chain. Staff was super friendly and I was greeted throughout my entire store visit. I was offered help twice as well. I knew what I wanted and I grabbed a few things and checked out their clearance sections per usual. They do have some really great deals on summer toys right now at 40% off, which is very tempting given hot Florida days! Overall: A+ Out of the way from our house, but definitely worth a little bit of an extra hike for a great experience.
