We also donated to this store many times over the years It's not the biggest or cleanest Goodwill I've been too and unfortunately it's more expensive than other local thrift stores in the area. Angels second chance has them beat by a mile with pricing. Due to this stores location, they do receive some great donations from locals. Today I found three beautiful round end tables with glass tops for $20 each. They were in excellent condition so it was a good deal. Stuff like this goes quick so it's good to stop in frequently to catch finds like this before someone else does. The staff here have always been friendly to me and they are helpful if you need assistance or have any questions. Alternatively, the staff could do a better job removing or discounting items that do not work or are broken. Today there were two collectable porcelain Christmas plates that had cracks in them selling for $5 each. Why even put them on the shelf?? There is a restroom in the back of the store but you have to ask a staff member to open it for you. There is no changing room to try on clothing, so be sure to only buy what you know will fit because they only offer a three day exchange on clothing. I like Goodwill; however, they need to lower the prices on some of this stuff if they want to move it. Yes, the whole color code tag discount works but they have some kitchen wares, books, DVDs, CDs, and knick knacks that have been here forever that just need to go and at the price they are selling them they are not going anywhere but here. All in all, it's a decent store and definitely worth the stop if you're shopping in the area.

I love this little antique store! So much to see and it always brings back fond childhood memories…read more The Treehouse Antiques is one of my first stops to take mom when she is visiting. She loves this place and usually finds several items to purchase while shopping. On my most recent visit I found a Corning Ware Coffee Pot ($89.95). It's probably the only piece she doesn't have in the set but she said she could get it cheaper; my mom, she loves to wheel and deal. She said "I got the tea pot though." I have to admit this place is packed full of stuff and can be a tight squeeze through the isles when its busy and can feel somewhat claustrophobic at times but its still worth the stop when shopping in downtown Sanford. I noticed since my last visit, it has become a bit more cluttered in here, one of the isles was packed with so much stuff you couldn't walk down it; work in progress, I guess? Some highlights on this visit were the collection of beautifully decorated music boxes, the Vaseline and Amber Nilotus Glass, the variety of vintage glass and stained-glass lamps, Corning Ware items, the glass fuel lamps, vintage clothing - blazers and hats, the variety of wall art, jewelry, watches, pocket knives, the Flea World shopping bags, and so much more. Staff here are always friendly and helpful; pricing is moderate to high in my opinion. My only complaint is that it can feel crowded in here especially when its busy and it can be a major problem if you're with someone who has a disability, there is literally no way you can get in here with a wheel chair or walker. Other than that, I highly recommend shopping here while visiting Sanford.

Most business in this area are doing Christmas in July, I notice a lot of items here were on sale. Four stars because of it was hot in there and two the place has so much stuff it's hard to see everything when it's not to organized. I like supporting local business so if I find something interesting I will buy it from here, also This business has a second floor with more stuff. They even have some kid toys here.

They have a huge array of clothing for men, women, and children. They have an entire wall of shoes. Even the bags and accessories are immaculately organized! There are toys, and a pretty decent maternity section with baby carriers, strollers, and more. All of it looks brand new! The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the condition. You won't find a single piece of stinky clothing in this store. In fact, the whole place smells very clean! I didn't end up buying anything today, but I will be back.

They also have a huge selection of men's and women's clothing and shoes all in good, new, and like new condition at an affordable price. The store is very clean, well organized, and staff are friendly. There are multiple changing rooms available to try and close you just need to ask an attendant to open a door for you. I didn't purchase anything today but my mother did find some nice shirts at a variety of pricing levels; $11.48, $6.97, and $22.99 (two piece). All were like new quality, and one was more dressy than the rest (expensive one). All and all the store is very nice and I would come back again if shopping in the area.

Today Goodwill has become a $5 billion nonprofit organization that provides job training, employment, and community programs for people who have disabilities that might prevent them from getting a job on their own. I popped into this Goodwill because it was next to another thrift store I was visiting, Teen Challenge Super Thrift. This Goodwill is really large and well maintained. You can tell that the people who work here take pride in the store. Clothes were being straightened all over the store. Besides clothes they also sell accessories, furniture, toys, sports equipment, small appliances, books, and house hold goods. There were some very nice pieces of furniture reasonably priced and some cute home items. I was just passing through but if I lived closer, this would be a regular thrifting stop.

On September 9th, my family adopted two kittens, Aren and Delle, from this rescue. We were told they had recently recovered from an upper respiratory infection and were now healthy. Unfortunately, less than a month later, our sweet Delle passed away on October 10th from FIP -- a fatal illness that likely developed from an infection that hadn't fully resolved. We followed all the recommended vet care and sought immediate treatment the moment she showed signs of illness, but despite every effort, she declined quickly. It was a deeply traumatic and heartbreaking experience for our family -- and for Aren, her sister, who is now grieving as well. I want to make it clear that I deeply understand and appreciate the mission behind animal rescues and the challenges they face in caring for so many animals in need. My intention in sharing this isn't to criticize, but to hopefully encourage more thorough medical reviews and communication before adoption. Even small improvements in diligence could help prevent another family from being blindsided by such a devastating situation. I emailed the rescue on October 11th, not in anger but simply to inform them of what happened. Unfortunately, I never received a response. Delle was deeply loved and is deeply missed. I truly hope that sharing her story leads to positive changes for future adoptions -- and to more happy, healthy forever homes.
