She loves this place and usually finds several items to purchase while shopping. On my most recent visit I found a Corning Ware Coffee Pot ($89.95). It's probably the only piece she doesn't have in the set but she said she could get it cheaper; my mom, she loves to wheel and deal. She said "I got the tea pot though." I have to admit this place is packed full of stuff and can be a tight squeeze through the isles when its busy and can feel somewhat claustrophobic at times but its still worth the stop when shopping in downtown Sanford. I noticed since my last visit, it has become a bit more cluttered in here, one of the isles was packed with so much stuff you couldn't walk down it; work in progress, I guess? Some highlights on this visit were the collection of beautifully decorated music boxes, the Vaseline and Amber Nilotus Glass, the variety of vintage glass and stained-glass lamps, Corning Ware items, the glass fuel lamps, vintage clothing - blazers and hats, the variety of wall art, jewelry, watches, pocket knives, the Flea World shopping bags, and so much more. Staff here are always friendly and helpful; pricing is moderate to high in my opinion. My only complaint is that it can feel crowded in here especially when its busy and it can be a major problem if you're with someone who has a disability, there is literally no way you can get in here with a wheel chair or walker. Fair warning there is no customer restrooms or fitting rooms; however, if you buy something that doesn't fit you can bring it back for store credit. I would say this is one of the better Thrift stores out there. They have second hand items on the cheap and new to like-new items that look like someone bought something from Walmart or Target, damaged the box or tried it out once and returned it for a refund. Although its stuff that someone might have returned the items are mostly in exceptional condition and are worth the buy. The store has something for everyone: Tool sets and maintenance supplies such as oil and filters; Toys, puzzles, card games, video games, DVD's CD's; lots of new and like-new shoes, dress shoes, boots, and sandals, tons of clothing and some fancy dresses, purses, watches and hats; skin care products, hair dyes, lipstick, lotions, and a variety of other makeup products; LED lighting for homes, decoration, the pool and more; household items, small kitchen appliances, landscaping supplies, grass seed and so much more. I popped into the Winter Park store location downtown, with cute brick roads. If you are a Lilly lover, this boutique is adorable! So many sizes, they carry all the styles, shoes, bags, accessories you name it. Some items new with tag, if you ever missed a collection, you can probably find it here. This location also had some Lululemon items. Friendly service by the staff, three fitting rooms, and plenty of local parking. Great value for Lilly pieces, wish we had a location in South Florida.

A store with stuff…read more The Village Shoppe is a small thrift shop that is located on the Lutheran Haven Retirement Center. I suspect most of the stuff is donated and that the proceeds go the retirement home. The shop isn't large, just a couple of rooms but they also have plants and garden stuff outside. Certainly not a place to spend a whole lot of time browsing. The shop has a whole lot of different things stuffed away inside the rooms. Assorted gifts items, lots of greeting cards, clothing, jewelry and household things. Of course the plants are outside. We found some cool things including a nice compass still in the original package, some fun jewelry and a cool little trash can with fish and ocean creatures on it. Of course they are some religious pictures and items too. The prices were dirt cheap and the lady working here very pleasant. A cool little shop to find something unique. Plus you know your purchase will probably go to help some old Lutheran.

Nancy was great to work with, created a beautiful bouquet based on what I like and delivered the flowers in LESS THAN ONE HOUR! from the time I ordered them.
