They gave me the option to do a paid version inside the location or to do the free version from home, all online. Because this was advertised as FREE, I chose the free version. As soon as I did, Vince seemed completely uninterested in supporting me and giving me the ACCOUNTABILITY they promised and primarily acted so excited about. I should've followed my gut (no pun intended) when I got a weird feeling off first encounter with Vince. It turned into a total sales pitch that seemed pretty disingenuous. Anyway, I still went with it and went hard core for 3 weeks without getting ONE SINGLE call or text from him, though they so loudly advertise ACCOUNTABILITY as part of why this is successful. He never checked up on me..not once. And now, months later, I receive a text from someone else at 1UP trying to promote the same program and when I told her what happened with Vince, she never texted me back. Kinda shady.

PITYFitness Pilates, an extension of PITYFitness, is a Pilates studio located in a stunning historic building that is over 100 years old. It offers a boutique experience with classes limited to just four people at a time, all using brand new reformer machines. Our group had varying levels of experience, ranging from professionals to beginners (like me), and Crystal managed to guide us effectively both as a class and on an individual basis. Crystal was amazing- she provided constant guidance, curated an excellent playlist, and delivered a solid workout in a lovely setting. I genuinely wish her and the studio all the best. I will definitely be booking more classes; I'm still feeling the burn! Just to note, since it may be hard to find -the studio is upstairs above Tang Soo Do, the martial arts studio and is accessible by both the front staircase or the one behind the building by PITYFitness. Two of my girlfriends have been going to Melissa for a few months and they look fantastic. I…read morefinally went with them last night and JEEZ, am I feeling it today!? The training studio is behind an office park and if you didn't have the address plugged into GPS, you'd never find it. It's not a place you'd see driving down the road. It is small, but has ample room to workout. Class sizes are limited to, I think, 10 people max, as it's more personalized than a group fitness class at a gym. It's a cross between personal training and group fitness. The class I attended was cardio and abs. The room was set up with 8 different stations and Melissa shows us how to do each of the exercises. You'd do each one for 3 minutes and then you'd have 30 seconds to catch your breath, grab a drink of water, and move to the next station. Once the 8 cardio stations were complete, we moved on to abs, where it was set up the same way. I definitely felt like I wanted to die, but in a good way, if there is such a thing! My lungs were on fire, I didn't bring enough water and it was embarrassing how badly out of shape I am. (Ok, embarrassing isn't the right word, but I was very conscious of my body and the areas I need to work on!) The prices aren't bad either. It's $7.50 a class and you sign up and pay online, so you don't have to worry about carrying cash. www.sassfit.com I will definitely be going back once I can walk again! ;)
