We (my usual dining companion and I) have eaten here twice in the last week and have not been disappointed yet. Note that dining on the Bellagio side of Lake Como can be a challenging affair, between the limited hours they are open, the narrow, mostly unlighted roads and the scarcity of parking. One finds restaurants based a primo on proximity, e secundi on availability of parking. After that, with your 100 words of Italian and the server's 100 words of English you attempt to order something pleasing.
We had pizza twice here. Very good pizza too, but someone should explain to Italians that if you offer bacon on a pizza it should not look like thin sliced ham. Still, great pizza. We had pasta dishes both times as well, and thatvwas tasty too.
The servers were kind to us Americans, no worries. We were well served. I've been a few places around Lake Como this week and the servers ranged from friendly to surly, so this place was a treat, especially Joseph. read more
