The car viewed was great but he lacks in financing options and explained it takes a couple of days. He asked for a non-refundable deposit of 500.00 without knowing anything about financing options. Applied and sent immediate pre-approval letter, only to be informed he sold car from underneath me. Without much regret. I explained he could have called and asked me for deposit again as a cash offer of 17k was looming. Overall he' is unorthodox car salesman, but asking people to put 500 down, not knowing anything about financing is a weird business practice. If it was partially or fully refundable I would have done it. But Ahmed , as most capitalists are self-serving. Bring cash or else.

So, I was not able to purchase from these folks. BUT, credit where credit is due, and I want to mention that the salesperson that assisted me is a great choice for anyone interested in buying a car. His name is Mauro Granziero (yup, definitely Italian) and he was all the things you want in a car salesman, and so very rarely get - urbane, intelligent, courteous without being too much so, helpful, patient and funny. Sure wish I could have bought a car from him. The car-buying process in the U.S. is stressful, usually adversarial, and hardly ever pleasant. It's an unhappy process for the most part. Salesmen like Mr. Granziero are the solution.

The process was simple and straight forward, and I appreciated his business practices. Signature Motor is a small, family owned company. He was patient with me, answered all my questions directly, and I didn't get that high-pressure sales experience that you might encounter at a typical dealership. He's kind, and clearly loves what he does. My car is clean, well-maintained, and very reasonably priced, a bit below market value. He wants his customers to get the best deal. I'd absolutely recommend purchasing from Signature Motor Company. Thanks Joe!

I struggled while writing this review. They are nice people I dealt with. BUT...I had to go out…read moreof town to have emergency surgery. A message had been sent to this business regarding the paperwork and license plates. I never received necessary items (paperwork)to carry in the car. (meaning I did not receive the paperwork and the license plates you carry in the car)...I am not talking about any paperwork that had been sent to me. They were suppose to submit the paperwork to DMV so DMV could process everything and then send me the license plates. They did not finish thier job of licensing this vehicle for me. Instead, they sent paperwork to me for me to do it. That is not my job when a vehicle is bought from a dealership. Yes, they have proof of sending the things - paperwork and I was suppose to go to DMV they said to "finish their job" in licensing the car. They are continuint to claim that I said I never received paperwork. I NEVER receeived the license plates and the paperwork that goes with that AFTER the DMV had processed the paperwork. Instead, like I have already said, they sent me paperwork to do THEIR job. I don't understand how those thiings work. I didn't want to put this out there but here it goes. I had to have life saveing emergency surgery while this was all happening. I had appointed someone to handle my affairs while I was in ICU. I am not saying I NEVER received the initial paperwork. I am saying I NEVER received the LICENSE PLATES. I have had the car a few months. Also, when I test drove the car the tire pressure indicator light was on constantly, no blinking and was told "Oh, the guys probably broke the sensor when putting new tires on." They NEVER fixed it. There was also the "maintenence due" light on. NOTHING was said about that. Yes, I tried to point it out to her but she waved her hand away like it was NOT an issue. After I got in the car and to the red light, I noticed there was only 1/4 tank of gas in the vehicle and I had been told it was a full tank. It wasn't. I was so worried I would not be able to find a gas station in time - before running out of gas. Back to the paperwork for a moment...I have been communicating with them via text messages explaining my limited income and financial challenges right now. I never got the title and I told them that. They are positive the title was IN all the stuff they went me. I want to sell or trade the car in but can't until I get the title. They know this. They told me they are "compassionate" to my situation but they are refusing to get another title for me and send it to me so I can get this nightmare behind me. I am 70 years old. WHY was I treated like this? I don't have the money to get another title and they had also told me the title came with the car was a "new" title because the car had been in an accident previously and someone in their departments had "miss filled out the title paperwork" so they had to "just get a new one". I am so confused over that one. My finances are very limited right now due to social security disability treasury department changing financial institutions and us social security people have to wait 3 months for our money to start coming in again with direct deposits. They changed debit cards on me also. As nice as they are as people, I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone nor will I ever buy another car from them. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Be careful when buying a vehicle! **All I was asking them to do was get another title for me to replace the one I don't have. I have looked through everything they had sent me and the title is NOT in that envelope. All I wanted and still want is a title. WHY is it so difficult for them to do this for me? I do not understand. I stand by this review. All they need to do is send me a replacement title. Once I received that title, i would state it here. ***A little note about me supposedly saying I did not receive the documents. I never said I didn't receive some of the documents. I NEVER received the TITLE that was suppose to be in those documents. I know the check was received while I was in the ICU. I found out after leaving the ICU that the check had been deposited into my checking account. That is not in question. Nor is it a problem...problem is in there not being a title in that paperwork. It can be easily missed when putting together a bunch of paperwork to mail to someone. It can happen when anything is mailed. In this instance, instead of it being non important piece of paper, it was the title. Again, all I was asking for was a title copy to be gotten and mailed to me.
