Normally I avoid travelodge hotels as they are a little too basic and unloved however Chichester seems to lack city centre hotels and this travelodge only recently opened on Chapel street so I thought atleast if it's new it would be clean and fresh. I was quite satisfied overall, the hotel is right next to the cathedral and all the shops. It's new and very clean, the rooms are spacious. One night was fine here however longer than that I may start to miss basic things you come to expect with hotels. For example there's no bar at all, you have to ask for a hair dryer, also you get just one towel and one tea bag, everything is minimal. For a good value sleep however it does the job well. For £ 65 you can't really complain. read more

This is after all the age or Sat Nav, I'm surprised the driver didn't suggest we should wait till dark to use the stars to navigate by or possibly use a Sextant! Avoid if possible, other Taxis services are far better and much friendlier.
