Very large selection of drinks, got one and the total cost did not break the "bank". There was a table by the front entrance- actually shady around noon time! But for clean stores, fair prices, great drinks of all sorts, and really good snack options -- even after hours, QT is the best. Stopped in late Wednesday night and I was as impressed as usual. There's plenty of drinks. The store is well lit. The store is clean. The staff is beyond friendly. The snack bar is closed, but there's plenty of great stuff on the roller grill. (FYI, the steak and cheese taquitos are stellar.) The condiment area for the roller grill/snack bar is spotless -- and stocked. 2 taquitos and 2 fountain drinks for under $6. What's not to love about this place?

I easily found what I wanted. At the register I was greeted, just like I expected from a QuikTrip. And the employee was easily managing the checkout of customers from both sides of the register. I was in and out very quickly. This location is directly on the toll road, so I noticed that the fuel pumps were busy. They are spaced well apart. Also, the pumps are far enough away from the store to allow cars to get in and out of the store without any interference.

There are fresh donuts and related pastries in the morning, which are discounted at night. Like other convenience stores you can find candy and generic sundries and groceries. I've just come in for the drinks. The fountain drinks have the right carbonation. I also like that they offer coffee on tap; it's unique. Both the cold brews are tasty, as well as the hot coffee offerings. And, if you want to sweeten your coffee, they tend to have 6-10 flavored creamers available for this use. And of course, they have the good personal service other convenience stores don't. You are greeted and thanked. Also, one person working can handle checking out people from both sides of the register. Gas prices are always competitive, and since the remodel, the store feels more open and much cleaner with more fresh options for a bite to eat. . They serve food, and always seems to be fairly busy. There is usually a lunch special that can be made fresh, or you can simply have a made-to-order taco, or grab something from under the heat lamps. It's convenient no matter what you choose. Staff is always friendly with a hello and a smile when you walk in. They always have fresh bread and milk (at convenience store prices) when you need to grab something quick or don't feel like fighting the crowd at HEB. Lately the slushie machines have been out of order (for awhile now) and that's a bit of a disappointment for my kids, but when those are working.. everyone is happy. I'm glad to have them nearby.
